Well I'll be. So that's who played r2d2 in the movie. Those two is what made the movie. Without them the movie just wasn't the same. I can say that. Those two were the most loved and popular characters in the movie. They were my favorites. Wow. U r one popular character and man sir. Kenny Baker. Now that I know who u r I will say it now. Kenny Baker played r2d2. Rip man. U were an awesome person. Starwars was one of the best movies on earth. I own them and still love and watch them. That was an awesome character. Of all the characters in Star Wars, R2D2 was the most deserving of Heaven in his afterlife. No matter how badly the odds were stacked against him, and no matter how limited he was by his physique, he always came through for his friends, and the greater good.

When I found out there was an actual actor behind R2-D2, I didn't feel any surprise. It was more like "no wonder I liked him so much" because if he was just another robot, like all the other "droid extras," I wouldn't have made a connection with him. It's like with the Muppets in my opinion.

I honestly had no idea there was a human being inside R2D2. Thank you for this video. I love his story about the girl.
