Luke is for me the most powerful and greatest Jedi that ever exists, wise and naturally gifted. Great tribute vídeo!!!

The underlying message is infinite, pure inspiration.

Luke will continue to inspire generations of young people like it does me. Like Yoda said, Luke inspires with his victories but also his failures. Sometimes we have to relearn the same lessons over and over. But that is where real growth happens. Thanks for the video and may the Force be with you.

thank you so much for making this. this really changed my opinion on luke. it’s hard to remember everything he’s been through so i’m glad i decided to watch this. i wasn’t a huge fan of the guy but this really helped me out to see why people like his character and say he’s one of the best. if i ever feel unsure about him i’ll come back to this

I wish they'd made Luke's order more like it was in legends I belive, where he kept the core of the jedi code and teachings but learned from the failings of the last order

Luke Skywalker has his father's devotion to his friends, bravery, impulsiveness, and adaptability But he has his mother's kindness, her boundless love, and level head. Even when everyone else had given up on Anakin Skywalker, Luke and Padmé didn't. Luke is Anakin's son, but he's also Padmé's. It isn't bravery or skill with a lightsaber that saves Anakin. It's love. It's having hope for his father, that Anakin could break free of Vader, that finally allows Anakin to triumph against his darker half.

Awesome work man! Love how you show the deep meaning behind Luke's death. It was in peace and purpose, protecting the ones he cared about and becoming the legend the Galaxy needed, inspiring it's people, like those kids on Canto Bight. Beautiful edit ^^

Luke is the iconic legend of Star Wars, regardless of what the sequels did to the character. Luke is the strongest and most heroic character of the saga. Without him their wouldn’t even be Star Wars.

I really loved how you approached his character in this one you can feel how much love you have for the universe all those parallels combined the old and the new flowed perfectly together such an amazing song for him tbh I never heard it before it worked fantastically your telling of his story was incredible and that ending was beautiful man you did such an amazing job with this legendary edit 💙

Luke is the best

Videos like this paint the sequel trilogy in a better light . A shame it could’ve been so much better. I think one of the reasons Luke’s TLJ self is jarring because of how different he is from where we left him from return of the Jedi. The problem was the turmoil he went through we didn’t see happen in real time instead it was told to us I don’t think that worked too well . People do forget he eventually becomes the very best version of Luke that we remember in the end but by then it was too little too late

Wow, that was beautiful! Personally I wish that Disney would explore Luke Skywalker in his midlife - the canon is excellent on this. The movies skipped so much! Hopefully we shall get some further canon insights in The Mandalorian or the upcoming Ahsoka! Ahsoka was a fantastic bit of acting/production btw.... Rosario Dawson absolutely nailed the character! I'm really enjoying Obi-Wan! Ewan is really reflecting the conflict Ben feels, the guilt, the shame and the horror that Anakin is Darth Vader. He's living in a nightmare and he can't yet see any hope. To be honest I thought that Disney would squeeze every last dime out of the Star Wars franchise and blow the history to hell but so far I have been really impressed with the story lines, the characters, the amazing acting, the mind blowing quality of the sets, locations and special effects - and not a Jar Jar in sight!

Sometimes the galaxy needs a legend. It needs the Jedi.

Thanks for sharing this. I will Always be a Star Wars fan, seen all of them ever since from the 1st showing, and also with my young boys….this video puts Luke’s struggles from within himself, and at a better understanding of what he was going through. For me,The heroes will always be both Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia, and even though we don’t have much of her life to go on, she was a powerful Jedi, besides helping Luke from time to time. So sad they never really took the Luke and Leia characters deeper and further into their lives, explaining things more and about also becoming more aware with the knowledge of their powers. Rey is quite the mystery Jedi. One question for me is how did she ever know how to use the force without training from another Jedi Master, such as Luke had to do and others like the PadWans were doing in their childhood? I still wonder about Rey’s ancestry as well and wonder if she is Luke’s daughter, snokes daughter, or maybe Palpatines, or possibly somehow another daughter of Anakin’s as well. Maybe someday they will make another sequel to the history…..HIGH 5

I grew up with Star Wars. Saw the original when it came out. Went through the prequels, the trilogy wrap ups, and all the side spin offs. Great moments. Tremendous ones actually. BUT, I never had as big a reaction when I saw Luke the Jedi save Growgru. Only the real hero can do that. Just my one opinion.

Amazing. My favourite one! I always felt connection to Luke. More than to many others. He is The Hero. Disney didn't show the end of his life the way it should've gone like, imo. Luke was capable and destined for more. Still I chose to see the beaty in it, the purpose. I saw Luke not being flawless. Saw him experiencing a hard tragedy and failure. I loved him even more. The One till the end. Your edit is just.. I can't stress enough how much I love it. You showed Luke's journey as it was. You delivered the mood, the story, the feelings and all these years. Thanks for including new content from TBoBF! I almost screamed while watching those shots! The transitions in your edit are magnificent! I always thank Luke was a too perfect character until episode 8 (this movie is still very bad but the glimpse of conflict i saw within Luke about the Jedi legacy made me reevaluate what i thank about this character) i've always related to Anakin because of all his personals struggles and was a much more complete and tragic character than luke Anakin's story is a story we must all live through one way or another and thats why i've always prefered Vader to his son but man this edit express all the best there is in luke and reconciliate me way beyond i thought was possible with this character

In my opinion Luke is more like his mother, known for his empathy and compassion and Leia is more like her father known for her boldness and leadership. Each of them have qualities from both parents but I think it’s really cool that at the end of the day it wasn’t impulsiveness or superior fighting skills that saved the galaxy, it was compassion. The same compassion that Padme had for Anakin before he turned to the dark side, Luke showed his father which brought him back to the light.

Not actively. I tried making it but it's a really difficult one since Leia doesn't really have much of an arc in the films and she has very little screentime all things considered. Most of her development is off-screen. But I'll probably have another go at it at some point.

J.J. Abrams is to blame for screwing up Luke Skywalker, Because Luke would never exile himself when his nephew destroyed his Jedi Academy, He would dust himself off and start over.

I wish they did a better job with older Luke because it's like he did not learn anything
