Honestly I played the M4 planet mission Twice once to try it and a second time to make sure I wasn't tripping and I hated the experience for both playthroughs. The restored content was amazing and it made my game a lot better and I would highly getting the restored content by itself

Love your videos man. So glad someone is so passionate about such an excellent game.

Hey. I encountered such a problem. If I remember correctly, there was only one hassle left with hk50 on the droid planet. can I do the same manipulation with kse with one attack? Last save where 20 hours ago so I would not want to return to it

Sorry for the late reply, just found this looking through unanswered comments. But yes it should still work using the KSE if you have that 1 encounter left. You can "fake" the first 2 encounters with KSE but the last encounter has to be naturally triggered for it to work.

So just to make sure is having the mod on a new playthrough what has these HK squads pop up a lot? Because I’ve talked to HK in the vanilla on console about tracking them down but never ran into any more of them outside of the one on Paragus, the telos academy and in Vogas backrooms

I believe the HK spawns are the same in RCM as they are in vanilla but I could be wrong. Haven't played vanilla in a very long time

Little update i renoved the coruscant mod i can now see the m4 planet but the hk factory planet is gone 🤦‍♂️😂 ill rush to finish this run then fix it for next playthrough

LOL so the Coruscant bug happened to you too? I'm so glad I included that little bit then! I'm not sure on the M4 part not showing up. I've never had it not appear for me. I use the TSLRCM + M478 mod that includes both mods and it has never given me an issue. Sometimes removing mods can corrupt your saves, so it can be risky if you don't back up your saves. Make some back ups and then dink around with saves and mods if you feel comfortable. When I removed the Coruscant Mod, I had never activated it in my game so maybe that was why it didn't hurt my save. Maybe load a save from a while ago if you removed Coruscant Mod. I change skins and retextures like I change clothes but I try to avoid removing other mods unless I absolutely have to. Even lightside playthroughs I rock the black sith master robes. Black is just so sleek. lol

@@lespaz1197 I've noticed some have issues with Steam, and some have issues with TSL Patcher. Hopefully it gets working for you. Maybe I will have to dive in and try using mods with the patcher!

@@CatDaddyGaming It has to do with the game being so old and released on cd, the patcher recognizes only the cd files somthing like that so some files need changing. Gonna hire an it guy to do that for me :D

Question! I used KSE to edit the encounters to 2, but the journal still says I have to encounter 3 for the quest; does this mean it didn't work, or will it update when I encounter the last one? If it updates, will it say I still have 2 to track down or will it say I've found all three?

You always need 3 encounters for the quest. If you changed it to 2 encounters in KSE then you should only need one more. Once you have hit the 3 encounters you should unlock the dialogue about it with HK47.

@@CatDaddyGaming Thanks! I just thought, since I updated it to 2, the journal would update as well and say that I only needed one more, but it seemed like nothing changed, I'm traveling to Korriban next so hopefully the final group of HK-50s will complete the quest.

@IsaiahO27 Make sure to save before the encounter in case it doesn't work. I don't know if the journal will update after a KSE alteration. But should trigger if changed the encounters to 2 and then hit another squad.

Mocking statement: I shall enjoy dismantling those lackluster copies with far more efficiency than their inner wiring could ever calculate.

The cutscene looks like it’s trying to play but it can’t for some reason. Is it because of the coruscant mod? The quest line also has the shutdown power description from the extra feats and powers content pack. Could that prevent the factory from working?

I've ran into issues running the Coruscant mod at the same time. You need the Coruscant mod patch from DeadlyStream.com if you want them all to play nicely together.

Question If I downloaded TSLRCM but not the m4-78 mod. Do I need to make a new playthrough when I download the m4-78 enhancement mod?

Yeah most likely. Anytime you add a mod that adds in additional content, it's a safe bet to start fresh. You could hypothetically probably play your old save files, you just will likely run into errors or crashes when the game starts using files the save game save wasn't prepared for.

Hey, could you make a video covering the armour within the game? I'm sorta new to the game and can't find any videos showcasing this. Thanks.

I mean technically it's possible. The cutscene is located in the games files somewhere. The trickier part will be how to trigger and watch it without going through the game. This mission was cut before final release and is only available via TSLRCM. Restored content required to play it.

finally got this to work with m4-78 planet (although when i got near the end of m4-78 i had to use the warp to get into the behaviour core) it bugged abit but after i used the warp to enter the final m4-78 behaviour core with the ai rebuilt everything went fine

Very nice! Glad you were able to get it figured out. I have occasionally had to tinker with the save file to make sure the game registered my 3 HK squad encounters. Game can be a bit buggy for sure but as long as you get it working then that is good! lol

Does the couresant journel glitch prevent the player from proceeding forward with the hk-factory quest? Or is it just a minor glitch, that doesn’t affect the players ability to get there

From my experience it prevents you from doing the HK Factory mission. Which you don't need to do to beat the game. Had to remove the Coruscant mod most of the way through my playthrough (which is a big no no but surprisingly didn't break my game). There is Coruscant patch on DeadlyStream you just add to the files to make them both work though. Just didn't know about that when I recorded the video.

@@charlesbornemann714 Tough to say. There is a possibility it will work. But more than likely you would need a fresh playthrough for everything to work correctly. You already been to Coruscant? I took the Coruscant mod off right before I needed to go to the HK Factory so it possible you just remove it when you are there and it works. Super iffy though cuz you shouldn't add and remove content altering mods mid game. Worth the try if you gotta start all over anyway.

@@CatDaddyGaming no I haven’t been to corusant yet. I’m on dantooine instead of nar shaddaa for my first planet, and I just beat visas and rebuilt HK. I just tried to trigger the factory quest and it popped up with the corusant info.

There were no hk's outside the Jedi enclave on dantooine, and I missed the chassis in voggas wharehouse. Am I screwed, or is the there another chassis somewhere?

You should have many more encounters granted you are not on your last planet. There is a merchant on Nar Shaddaa that sells you a chassis I believe. Should be in the main "square" area.

@@jasonfleenor Bummer to hear. This game is very prone to bugs and weird issues. Definitely give it a go on your next playthrough. Hands down on the best characters to have with you for his funny quips.

I tried to find the M4-78 Enhancement Project mod for a mobile phone, but I didn't find it. Is it only available for PC? I use an Android and already downloaded TSLRCM.

Yeah only for PC at the moment. I'm sure some modders will successfully get it able to work for mobile but right now I don't know anyone who has gotten it to work successfully.

So far no confirmed version for mobile yet. I have read reports of people getting it to work via mobile, but still with some issues. Hopefully they can get it compatible soon.

They’re just standing there for me, is there a trigger I’m not doing? The three are standing on the planets, but I can’t talk to them or anything. They just stand there

Hmmm that is very odd. Usually a cutscene triggers right when you get near them...kinda like when you walk past a trainer in a pokemon game lol but I have never heard of this happening to anyone before. Was it like this for every set of HK's you encountered?

I know the KSE can remove quests but I have never experimented with removing quests myself. Was too afraid I would break something lol

Welp 2nd playthrough with the mod I didn't know this was there and tried to trigger the quest the wrong way not knowing I had to click a dialog option first about to finish the last planet before the end for me its dantooine I have no encounters left anyway to trigger this quest I want to do this mission but I'm not running through a 3rd time just for it. Any other way to trigger it

Unfortunately no. Only 2 ways are naturally with the 3 encounters, or with modification of the save file but still needing one encounter left. No way to do it without triggering that initial conversation with HK47. Another playthrough is always an option. Different build and opposite alignment are fun. Lots of time though. One last thing we could try is I could give you a save file from my game at the start of the level. You would need a few specific mods on your game though so the save would be compatible. Another option is having a save from WAY back in your playthrough you could reload. Saving often and in many many slots is always a good idea.

@@CatDaddyGaming nah I'm not going to go through the trouble messing with a new save file I've already played through it multiple times without mods and a couple modded don't feel like going through it again i could just watch someone play through it thanks anyway. Plus I think I found a way someone mentioned a way on steam it won't trigger the scene on the Ebon hawk but should start the quest when you go back to the telos temple, you set the encounter to 3 and it should list the ebon hawk scene as 0 set it to 1 do this before going there and it should trigger the quest at telos normally when you arrive I'll make a backup Save when the time comes and try that though I record when I'm playing and won't have time for a couple weeks to know for sure.

Save often and in many slots so you can go back to any point in the game. I've passed up this quest many times before myself by missing some squads

What happens after that part? I managed to finish that quest, but journal entry was blacked out, no text. No doubt other mods messed it up. How will I know the next part initiated successfuly? I know it's near the end of the game somewhere.

@chvjdvpa3746 Which part are you referring to in your first sentence? It's definitely almost end game. If you have the Journal Entry/Quest to run into the HK Squads, you just need to make sure you run into 3 of them before you start the endgame cycle.

If you got that torture seen that should mean you triggered it. Been a while since my last playthrough but I believe Factory triggers after the Ravanger but before Malachor.

That would be the mobile version. PC version will be only for the PC. (PC Disk, Steam, GOG, Origin, etc.)

BRUH!! I have honestly never heard that one before!! Hilarious! I will use that one day. These are my favorite kind of "easter egg" things I can leave for future me to get a good laugh at when loading in an old game!

I can confirm that I didn't need HK in my party to trigger the quests (in the version of TSLRCM that was on the Workshop).

Not at all it is really easy. Gotta have a PC version though. You can add them through the Steam Workshop if you have the Steam Version. Or you can download them off the internet and add them in the override folder in the games directory. The tricky part is getting all the mods to get along. Some mods don't play nicely with other mods or are not compatible. Mods usually have a discussion page where you can see if others have had issues. Make backups of your save files if you wanna keep them and test mods out one at a time and it should be nice and easy. Happy to help if you have any questions!

Oh ok so I can be anyone or any race or even bastila or revan or even find revan mods or meeting revan by putting mods if you finished the game or a droid planet or hk factory mod or the entire crew saying the exile is dead on the ebon hawk or the crew of the exile faces Kreisler or handmaiden and visas fight each other like atom and disciple fight each other or sion and atom fight each other

@@lion4611 So if you add The Restored Content Mod (TSLRCM) or the droid planet you may have to start a brand new playthrough. Adding in new content will require a new game. Skins and appearances should work on any save file though. You can't have 2 mods doing the same thing. If you try to add 2 mods that are both trying to alter the same files you will run into issues. Best bet would be to download a mod. Add to files and then test it out. Keep doing this with every mod that way if one breaks the game you know it was the one you just added on.

I understand and can I change the dark side corrupted face with glowing Sith eyes or the same Dead eyes like sideous from rise of skywalker even change my character entire face corrupted even with corrupted veins and face with scars or marks on his face like revans scars or a mod for to fall in love with Brianna or Mira or a kylo ren cape or robes or helmet or hooded mask clocked with kylo rens outfit from the sequels or kylo rens crossguard lightsaber or a doubleblad crossguard lightsaber mods or something

@@lion4611 I know right! There is an insane amount of mods you can throw on! I have seen one that makes all the Mandalorians look like Bobba and Jango Fett. There are some super interesting ones out there. Modding opens the door to endless possibilities. And new ones are being made today! It's insane! I highly recommend modding to anyone brave enough to try it!

He just says to wait for the droids. Nothing about encountering 3 HK-50 groups. And I do have TSLRCM.

@@TheVampManson There should be a quest very vague about the imprint sensor. 2 things I can think of that may be the case. You either need to go through all the dialogue options if you haven't triggered the needed one, or more likely you need to run in a HK50 squad and then chat with him about it again.

Yes you can! You do need to install the mobile version of the Sith Lords Restored Content Mod though since that is what adds in the HK Factory. I just made a video on how to install that mod for Android. Pretty much the same steps but you will have to use a PC to mess with the iPhones files. I haven't gotten that far yet on my mobile playthrough but should hopefully soon!

must be diffrent on the switch no hks spawn in except the ones you get the parts from.

Yeah that's cuz they haven't released the Restored Content DLC yet. Once they drop that later this year you will be able to do this

Even without the mod you should still run into 2 sets of HK's on Dantooine. One at the Jedi Enclave, and one when you complete the main quest there and head back to the Ebon Hawk. Have you run into any others?

@@chrisheald8848 That is quite odd. Hopefully you run into more of them. You can use Kotor Save Editor to do the work around but you will still need to run into one more set of HK's if you do that. When you were in the Jedi Enclave did you run into the padawan with the pet Laigreks?
