@@xanderm6090 Obviously EA. 2005 had its golden age. But its irrelevant now. With BF2 Ea you can play with friends and online. Also there are 12 Galactic assault maps with 16 small maps. With more coming next month. There are 15 heroes. 2 more coming next month. Dooku and Anakin. OH Yeah AND ITS ALL FREE. THE ONLY THING YOU CAN PAY FOR ARE COSMETICS.

This game came with a lot of content. It wasn't just a scripted story, there were bonus missions and multiplayer. Who thought you'd be able to play as a f*cking magnaguard?? This is basically unheard of today, outside of DLC. Sad

Who else thinks there should have been a bonus mission for the fight between Yoda and Sidious that unlocks both of them for duels after finishing it? I was sure that's what the last bonus mission was going to be before I played it.

Some of the animations look even better than the one we've got in 2018. Grievous was BUGGED to all hell when he first dropped. Took a year, still comes out bugged. That's EA for ya...

@@driff7146 I don't know if he's just inconsistent but he can cut you from 30 feet away. The range on his moves are bullshit and you can't jump over his claw rush. It still hits you. Such a bullshit, broken character.

Just because EA took time doesn't mean that this studio didn't. They probably spent close to a year and a half to make him originally. Just because we have modern tech doesn't mean that we need less time to make content.

in the fight against obi wan (bonus mission episode 4) if you don't attack him while his health is seriously low he's going to get in that position where he's holding a lightsaber and just standing just like in the movie I found that out like few months ago lol

Honestly the best saber combat animations for Grevous you will ever see in a Star Wars game. Finally a Grevous that acknowledges his custom blaster, rotates on his spine like a complete death machine, and hurls Jedi with those talons like an absolute monster 😂 It's like every other form of media forget Grevous was intended to be a Jedi Hunter... Mean while cartoons reduce him to a clunky, loud droid commander

This game NBA Ballers, and Kingdom Hearts 2 made me really appreciate the PS2 Console... Star Wars 3 & Spider-Man 3 (because the symbiote/Black-suit concept is awesome) are my favorite tie-in movie games.

I haven't really thought about episode IX at all to be honest. I think episode VIII killed a lot of my interest in these current films. I'm sure they could find someway to shoehorn Anakin into the movie, if they can do it with Darth Maul, they can do it with anyone xD

Man I remember playing this game on the PS2 with my dad when I was a little kid, I'm 25 now. Last time I played this I was more than likely 8-9 years old.

This game was that dam good that it told the story that you didn’t see in the movie and you get a great understanding on what went on in between

the graphics is much better then PS2

And suddenly a million memories came clashing together. Seen this game in a shop for 50p, was so tempted to get the old xbox back out.

Thanks for the video! I did all of these in my "copious spare time" (that's a joke... I didn't have any), between the hours of 7pm and midnight, without any support. I just thought it would be fun to play with some of the other characters and the engine supported it. Again, thanks for the vid.

I remember playing this game. Memories indeed.

Everytime I see an old, hooded Obi-Wan Kenobi in brown robes fighting Vader in the Death Star "window" scenario, I can't help but get the feels. It is such an iconic scene from the saga. It's the first time we saw two space samurai fighting with the coolest weapon in cinema. Their surroundings, the fact that Ben keeps his hood up, their capes flowing opposite directions, the sort of triangle their combined shapes form.... I know I'm reaching, but the frame composition in this scene is really satisying for me. There are lots of iconic visual moments in Star Wars, and this is certainly one of them.

Zenith it's evident from the Order 66. He was still stuck in-between the light and the dark when he was fighting Obi-Wan on Mustafar, his saber was still blue by then and they also didn't seem to wanna kill each other, he could've also had Padme killed but still let her go. When she dies it wasn't actually entirely his fault but that she just "lost the will to live". The emperor lied to him in order to bait him over to the dark side using his love for her as his weakness that much is clear. Luke and Obi-Wan could still sense the good in him as he also couldn't stand to watch Luke suffer at the hands of the Palpitine, the Sith thrive on suffering and could really care less for others as much as themselves. So I think ya just might have a point there....

Ted: padme didnt die from a broken heart... its hinted at that Sidious uses her life force to keep Anakin alive after Mustafar. Its so much better then the "broken heart" theory - I highly recommend watching some youtube videos on it for elaboration!

Putting that movies clip before you battle kenobi was clever! Was that part of the game or did you add that?

This Obi-Wan has less MP than the Story Mode Obi-Wan and Story Mode Anakin, as Bosses of course. Also Anakin and Obi-Wan are the ONLY characters who get their HP bar size changed out of Versus Mode.

This was like in a new hope adaptation 38sc ben kenobi vs darth vader. In these both ben barely but surely puts up a fight, holding his own against his old padawan's darkside though before hes outmatched he sacrificed himself to distract vaders stormtroopers and save luke with his gang.

I've actually had Ben do the whole 'letting himself be struck down' thing when his health is at critical, ending the fight immediately when you hit him due to him vanishing.

So..much...content. I enjoy 2017’s Battlefront 2 but seeing this makes me think about the untapped potential that EA and Disney have no intention on creating :/
