@@howmanybabiesdidNestleKillthere have been comics since the early 90’s which Disney owns the rights to, that have depicted this almost exactly.. so I’m not sure how anything is stolen.. the creator did a fantastic recreation, especially given the limitations at the time it was made.

The Mandalorians knew how to make armor, didn’t they? “Look at this,” he says, holding it up. “Mandalorian battle armor. Whole box. Complete set, by the looks of it. Been through hell and back. I think my boss will appreciate this." This happens in a sandcrawler on Tatooine.

It's cool to see how similar this is to the actual show. The insides of the Pitt, the POV shot through the visor seem to be taken straight from this fan film.

Imagine what you could do with Disney's budget... I have to say you're hella talented my dude. Great tribute to this fan favorite legend!

After Fett escaped and was wounded/stranded in the desert, Dengar (who had gotten drunk earlier and missed the Sail Barge party) arrived to check out the scene. He finds Fett and helps get him treated for his wounds. They become partners up until Slave 2 crashes into the energy shield that protects the planet Byss (see Dark Empire).

Hi guys thanks for watching Star Wars Beyond The Dune Sea! I have had a few fans ask me why Boba Fett doesn't use his own ship Slave 1 and instead uses Bossk's ship the Hound's Tooth. It's a good question. My thinking was if every one thinks he is dead it is too his advantage. All eyes would be on Jabba's Palace after his death. Boba could avoid attention from his competitors, the Rebel Alliance and the Empire. It comes down to the old theory of the element of surprise. He would be able to go after his quarry more discreetly, then easily go back for Slave 1 at a later date.

I like this better than how they did it in Book of Boba Fett. I came back to watch it because I always thought this was awesome, and they didn't quite nail the sarlacc escape in BoB in my opinion. There was so much more they could have done there with the escape sequence

This is better and makes more sense then the book of Boba Fett episodes 1-4

The scene of Boba Fett escaping the Sarlacc was great. I imagine that to be the ending of Boba Fett Anthology movie. Boba Fett will first have flashbacks of his pasts,showing his origins,and his rise as a Bounty Hunter. Then flashbakcs come to an end as we see Boba Fett inside the Sarlacc. Then we can have Boba Fett cannonically escape and be free and be ALIVE! :D

Not really, this is what happens in Legends and honestly this did a far better job than Book of Beta Fett but ultimately neither got it completely right, when Boba escapes he is found by Dengar who saves him and helps him recover, they also didnt include the Sarlaccs hivemind and Bobas interaction with it.

Kinda creepy with that protocol droid... 0_0... It's like it came straight from a horror movie. 😕 Nicely done!

Bill Patrick Jones the empire doesnt stand a chance of capturing boba. He would easily deal with deathtroopers for example and he defeated vader in combat both with lightsaber and prefered weapons. So nobody could capture him. Also its canon he survived since his gear is found in a novel with minor burn damage. And nobody can get anything out of tge sarlacc.

Faceless Man I always wonder about his popularity. I think, in relation to the movies only, it's the cool costume and the rocket pack. It's not unlikely that he could have survived the pit as it is something like a 1000 year digestion cycle, giving him a lot of chance to escape.

+Ian Christie He was mostly popular because he was unique and mysterious. Here is this random guy with badass armor and a gravelly voice, who can stand up to and back talk Vader? The Sith Lord who routinely executes his own Admirals? It was mostly the mystery behind him. George Lucas didn't expect him to become so popular. He said if he had known, he might have had Boba Fett survive - or at least given him a more meaningful death.

I have had many fans referring to Dengars' role in Fett's escape, yes you are indeed right, but since the Disney acquisition those books are no longer officially canon. We decided to make our own version of events within our limited budget. Thanks for your comment.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching this. As a 501st ROTJ Fett myself i couldn't bring myself to do stunts in my gear (knowing its cost), so i congratulate your Fett. :)

I LOVE IT!!!!!!

The anthology film should be set with Boba's time in the sarlacc, almost like he's serving time and rethinking his entire life. Have flashbacks be the vocal point of the film, beginning with the death of his father Jango and his time in the Clone Wars, etc. Then, either as a climax, let him espace the pitt, or have it as a conclusion.

Oliver, well done sir, I enjoyed that very much. I LOVE fan films and this is one is pretty darn good. Keep it up!!

The fan films in order are Star Wars Smuggler's Run (Special Edition), Star Wars Beyond the Dune Sea and Star Wars Smuggler's Fate. Hope you enjoy all of them. Best thing I saw since Return of the Jedi. Okay, I admit LotR Trilogy was kinda cool too.

That was great. Boba got a raw deal in Jedi, so thanks for giving him a second shot, as it were, while also making him look more badass in the process.

This is a very high-effort, low-budget film, and I've gotta say that I'm impressed. I liked it a lot. I wasn't too keen on the subjective camera with Fett's visor, though.

Pretty cool...i was really getting into it when it ended.....please do more. Hey man a tutorial on doing videos like this would be cool.

This makes about as much sense as Legos on pizza: 1) Fett is a low-level bounty hunter, one among hundreds; the Empire (i.e., Vader) doesn't care about him. Fett was paid to locate the Millennium Falcon, and completed that job (accepting the frozen Solo as partial payment at Bespin). What he was doing at Jabba's palace (after being paid the bounty on Solo) amounts to post-mission R&R (one assumes that months or even years have passed), when Luke shows up to rescue Solo. Vader and the Empire are off building a new Death Star and don't give a shit about deserted flyspeck Tatooine. 2) Therefore, Fett has no reason to ambush and shoot the troopers when they actually represent a god-send for assistance. 3) Two "buck private" troopers a) aren't going to know the names of Skywalker or Solo, b) aren't on the Hutt payroll and therefore privy to the latest bounties, and c) have no reason to arrest a wounded Fett. 4) Similarly, there's no reason for Fett to sneak around in Jabba's palace and avoid flying off in his own ship, as it hasn't been impounded and he's not "wanted" for anything. Jabba is dead, and there will likely be an immensely-profitable Hutt reward for the capture or execution of those responsible. Letting the Hutts know that he's available would be potentially very lucrative. 5) There are no other survivors from the sail-barge (aside from the Skywalker Gang), so no one knows of Fett's embarrassing failure over the Sarlac pit. In fact, he's the ONLY PERSON still alive on Tatooine who knows who killed Jabba.

Imagine if this was the credit seen in the mando season 2 last episode
