I remember watching the preview for that game on UFC with my dad and being blown away by the graphics and how cool the game looked, it convinced us to buy a ps3

+BattlefrondJDGamer For the most part, I agree with your assessment. I just want to add that whilst blocking blaster fire, Lightsaber-wielding heroes should be able to Reflect the enemy's fire back at them (provided said player is skillful enough to do this manually). That's all. Cheers!

I'll defiantly be waiting to see if there are servers that remove the whole pay to win aspect of this game before buying it. I can't understand how people actually defend literally buying power in a 60 dollar game. Here's hope for the community to save it.

LLLong Ya so far its not going so well

A lot of people are complaining about the loot crates but do they not realize that this replaces paid DLC? I didn't play a single DLC in the last game. Didn't play on Jabba's Palace, didn't play on Cloud City, didn't play on Death Star and didn't play on Scariff. I refused to pay for maps that were already in the old games and then the only new content which was scariff was also behind a pay wall. Not to mention that even if you did get the DLC, not everyone did. So they player base was split and the population for the game dropped even more than it already did after release. Now every new map pack, heroes and modes they add.. EVERYONE will have because it's free! Yeah that loot crate system is crap, but it barely effects anything. Some more percentages on abilities. Big deal. Doesn't affect the gameplay all that much. I'm more interested in getting more content.

I bought a physical copy from Amazon. Currently, you can't buy a digital version of the game so it's worth shopping around to see if you can get yourself a cheap copy.

What's your origin? I would love to play with you when the game is released!

Hey man, great review of the beta. I too have posted my own review and thoughts if you wanna check it out. Regardless, it seems like this game is going to be much much better with a ton of improvements and I'm excited to see how each mode plays out on each map.

I'm hoping this game doesn't turn out like Battlefield 1. Great in the beginning and then it just went downhill due to the mobile game-like microtransactions with the lootcrates..

I hated the first battlefront and thought it was a cash grab from EA and would not compare to the original 2 games but the second one redeemed my faith in EA. Also its not pay to win and in your comment you said that there is so many problems with the game but you have an assassins creed logo for your profile pic thats ironic because most launches for assassins creed start out as a buggy mess. Have you even played the beta for Star Wars battlefront two even?

Not quite pay to win. There’s actually a cap to what you can earn through loot crates. The more powerful items and weapons in the game will only be available by levelling up and doing challenges. Also, they fund free dlc, which I think EASILY makes this system better than the season pass model.

Lol mobile game microtransactions in a 60 dollar game, anyone that buys this game is actively supporting this garbage practice in the industry, don't be surprised when your favourite franchises get this treatments next year.

At least games like Titanfall get their money from putting prices on additional cosmetics so that they may still have the major content be free with the updates.

You know EA literally came out and said it's not pay to win....right? All of the most powerful stuff you have to earn via ingame stuff, and you need to earn the right to upgrade cards.
