The only thing missing is James Doohan's voice. Reflecting his start as an actor in radio dramas, James Doohan voiced nearly every male character besides Kirk, Spock, McCoy, and Uhura. Probably the best example of this was the episode "The Slaver Weapon", where James Doohan voices the ancient alien device and all of the kzinti crew.

Perfect: The flesh colored eyes to save money by not having the cel painters do extra work adding white; The audio track, including having Worf in particular sound like he recorded his lines in a bathroom (Which Shatner did for the original animated series); the blank stares and for-no-reason-at-all glances to the right. Ooooh! Dramatic; the static shots of communication equipment, thus saving time on lip-syncing; and the oversimplification of elaborate costumes, so the Borg's appendages like the arm are shortened and look like painted toilet paper rolls. Oh, and of course, making the Borg cube pink to spruce up the color scheme for Saturday morning TV. Well done!

The Kzin at Ops is a fricking masterstroke, and the classic Filmation music has always been some of the best in Trek canon, it fits PERFECTLY here. (I am writing this on M 02 MAY 2022.) I saw TAS when it first came out in 1973. For 10-year old me, it was appointment viewing Saturday mornings. This is very very good; almost perfect! For those of you born too late to remember these things... 50 years ago, before cable was commonplace (and there was no satellite TV or Internet or video games), free broadcast TV ruled with only the Big 3 networks - ABC, NBC, CBS - PBS, and independent stations. Also commonplace were the TV listings in the newspapers. So, if you wanted to know what was on TV in your area that day, you checked the TV listings in the newspaper or, if you got the Sunday paper, they usually had a TV guide for the week. In the New York City metropolitan area where I grew up, the New York Daily News was the most popular newspaper and we had a subscription. In the Daily News TV listings, "outstanding" shows were always listed in boldface font. At that time, every Saturday morning on the networks, TV was focused on children usually with relatively mindless cartoon shows. I remember no Saturday morning TV shows ever being listed in boldface.... until the animated version of "Star Trek" debuted. It definitely was more than a kids show and the only thing that made it a "kids show" for the industry was that it was animated ("a cartoon", we'd say... e.g. "Cartoon Star Trek"). However, the TAS stories were definitely adult in sophistication not being much different than "Star Trek" ("TOS" to you). Perhaps that's why it warranted the boldface "outstanding" indication. It's criminal that series did not last longer.
