Gotta give Andross credit. He's really stepped up his villainous rants since the last time we saw him. The music ain't bad, either.

I find it funny how Andross' "mighty intellect" refers to the single individual Fox McCloud as Star Fox, despite that being the name of the team.

Tough boss! I got stuck fighting him last night, trying over and over again and knowing I wouldn't be getting much sleep for work the next day. This video really helps, I'll give it another go tonight!

y'know, just once, i'd like to see Andross BEFORE he became a floating head and hands. might just be me. also "IF I'M GOING DOWN I'M TAKING YOU WITH ME" sounds a lot better than "i won't let you regret your foolish bravado, you'll perish here with me". the latter sounds like he's calmly accepting death, the former, an enraged andross's last breath

love this game! This last battle has me stuck, it's pretty tough, I can't seem to avoid the palm smack from above, looks like there's only enough time for 2-3 shots and then I gotta bail. Also, the electricity lasso thing that pulls me into his palm, I thought that was unavoidable but it looks like that's what I need to save the bombs for. Gonna give it another go tomorrow. Good stuff!

i don't care what anyone says, this is the best star fox game. hardest one too.

To be fair, when I saw this Andross turn mech, I freaked out in shock! I didn't expect taking on a machine head. It made the game difficult to handle. I understand why people are split about this game.

It would have been awesome to fight brain Andross but I thought it was still pretty clever that they mixed in elements from the final boss fights from both the original SF and SF64 into this fight like the mechanical Andross look, the weak point in the back of the head (back of the brain in 64), hands, Tetris block attacks, etc. The only thing they left out was the attack where Andross sucks you in his big fat monkey mouth. On a side note, I really do wish they elaborated on why Andross is a giant floating space head monster robot monkey.... Did a lab experiment of his go wrong? Did he intend to obtain this form by means of giving him crazy superpowers?.... I wish they told us.

+Alex Grachek I think people were expecting more narrative for this star fox game..They basically sort of remade and rebooted star fox..While I I do love Star Fox zero, I do understand people's complaints about it and how the game hasn't really evolved much..unless its pokemon..everyone loves pokemon

+relu419 If you did the story you unlock the arcade mode. There you can see all paths you can choose and the last three levels are always the same. So I don't believe there is another final boss in the game.

Since 1997, Andross becoming the Cyber Brain after destroying this head and hands.

There must be another ending. Something like you unlock after beating every hidden path and collect every medal. They can't let the game end without having a showdown with Andross' Brain.

Before I clicked on this video I though to myself "This better not be another &$&$king Andross head battle" Nintendo, you never fail to disappoint.

+Up In The Cosmos Arwing transforms to the Walker by itself. So Walker is the usual way.

+Up In The Cosmos I found it impossible to beat with the Walker because I didn't think to back off the way BeardBear did. I ended up flying tight circles inside the arena while aiming as far sideways as I could. Particularly for the second form, it works way better.

It's a reboot, mean every star fox game that came before were retconned to start the series from scratch.

This is the game's ending no matter what path you take, there are 19 paths in Arcade Mode, each with it's own score count, but it's always with this fight.

I play it every 6 months, yes it doesn't look terrible on ground but, it's when you're on foot, because even the second part of the first mission for exemple looks beautiful on arwing ^^

people complained aboit assult having not enough r wing levels vut zero turns the final boss into a mostly ground level yet people defend it.

No, that's how Andross is in general. Andross experimented on himself turning into just a floating head with hands only after he was banished from Corneria. The metal form is just one of his many experiments on him.

The Walker from star fox 2 it's an old concept

Died a couple times, but ultimately wasn't that hard. Just annoying. And I was still getting used to the controls as well as how fast your health decreases
