It's great peril music.

I feel like James's inclusion in the Phase 2 corridor of illusion severely misunderstands the gravity and impact of his appearance in the escape sequence from Venom 2 in 64. Like, in 64, he showed up in Fox's darkest hour, when it looked like he was a goner just like his dad, but then, through the blinding light, you hear a voice absent from the rest of the game, guiding you to safety like a guardian angel. Was he really there? Noone else saw or acknowledges James being present for the final battle. Regardless of whether James was there, it's incredibly touching to see his father pay him one last visit to make sure he made it out of there alright. In Zero, they just, kinda include him in Venom because that's where James shows up. The part that tears me up the most is when Andross admits to seeing James also. Foiling the ambiguity kinda lessens the impact, I feel.

@@BlazingKhioneus I’m saying that because 64 had a darker more creepy tone it felt a lot more impacting when you saw James McCloud just saying and in 64 because of that darker tone they decided to keep James’s death up in the air

It's amazing that andross looks like megatron

While I do agree that the story is again a rehash of 64 and the voice direction isn't amazing, I overall felt that this game isn't bad. Controls may be different but it's a good looking game alongside some really neat designs to the levels (my oppinion anyway).

A flawed gem, limited yes - but still, so so underrated. There's something about this game that just a little more care in the Gameplay of some of the levels would have resulted in a timeless Masterpiece. But it's still so great to pick up and play!

why am i just now finding out about this game.

Planet? This isn't even the size of a city. It couldn't even be mistaken for a small moon like the Death Star. So if they had sent Andross to somewhere out of this dimension, does that mean he had to beat origami and a slot machine to come back?

Now that I think about it, is the teleporter in this game foreshadowing for a potential Assault remake later in the timeline? It could easily be the prototype for Corneria’s orbital gate.

You know I always heard everyone hated this game but now that I actually see it it seems pretty good, nice graphics and it has elements of the original star fox, the abandoned sequel, and star fox 64, and blends everything together really well. So as someone who never played this but now kind of wants to, what did people not like about this game?

To be fair, most of the cruisers in Star Fox Zero (with the exception of the Salvadora class) are the size of the Tantive IV

How did you get voices for your dialogue? My wiiU has the dialogue, but no character voices to read them.

Why did they turn venom into simply a large asteroid.

It looks great but they still hurt starfox they should have stayed with the formula from assault

Even though Star Fox Assault was only half good, they at least gave us a new villain to fight. How many times do we have to fight the disembodied head and hands of an evil monkey? If the final boss has to be Andross then at least make him take a different form or something.
