@@CyberLance26 I'm actually not so sure in this reboot or whatever this one is supposed to be. I think so in the original yeah since Fox was the only one who acknowledged him. But in this one, both him and Andross acknowledged him, so I think this was rewritten to where he was presumed dead, but turned out to be alive, only to actually sacrifice his life for good to make sure Fox made it out. It actually made it that much sadder if this was the case since Fox was starting to probably come to terms with his death , to this game, and to be emotionally hit by this. Poor thing.

LOL. At the end of the original Star Fox 64, the bill was a total of all units destroyed multiplied by 64. This bill (1,325,440 for 2,071 units destroyed) is the total units destroyed multiplied by 640. "640" = "Star Fox 64 Zero"

Everyone is saying andross looks like megatron. I think it's suppose to be an homage to how andross looked in the original snes game.

In the SNES game it was never explicitly stated he was a monkey. He was just a space alien scientist trying to take over the galaxy who morphed into a floating alien head. Cooler idea in my opinion than a fucking monkey.

There's something badass about having Fox manage to take on the entirety of Star Wolf alone.

@@wookiecommander4554 Not necessarily. Your teammates doubled as both an (arguably) weak asset to your offense, and more often then not, a distraction for each member of Star Wolf. Even in Zero, you can have backup from Falco, Slippy and Peppy. As well as Katt and Bill all at once. In this battle, it's a 4 on 1. In short, it's exactly as SonicWinds said "*alone*." No-one's around to help Fox. All 4 of them are gunning for him, and Fox winning in itself is badass enough, but also validates Pigma's disbelief *"HOW?!?!"* *"How the hell did one Arwing outmatch four Wolfen that're on-par with an Arwing's capabilities?"*

@@basketbomberslackingson4417 To be fair it's not entirely clear even in this. They're literally in a 'Corridor of Illusion' - Fox sees him when he's alone and at a loss of where to go. Andross sees him as he's about to die. Both where their most vivid memories of him stem from. Else, why would he leave Fox to fight Andross alone? Why didn't he leave the corridor? He clearly knew is way around. It's literally an illusion.

I agree. It’s possible it’s his spirit coming to guide fox when he seems lost and encourages him along the way like a true father. But i always wondered who his mom is. Did she die and James had to be a single parent?

I just love how Andross kept trying to get under your skin with all those comments.

Andross was very evil in the N64 version. The way he tortured James until he was screaming just before his death was very barbaric. Peppy barely escaped alive from being betrayed by Pigma. Reminds me of Transformers a little with the way your Airwing & Andross transforms.

I love the 4 v 1, it makes Fox seem even more competent, also this fight with Andross was actually mildly challenging.

It was already kind of a 4 vs. 1 anyway. The team doesn't do much to actually defeat them in 64, it just makes things easier because you aren't their only target. But in the end, Fox is still the one who has to defeat all 4 of them. And in 64, you can actually go to their final battle in Venom alone...

"So Venom itself is one big teleportation device." If there was one thing I DID like about Starfox Command's story or whatever, is that it presented Venom's potential as a political entity post-Andross. Kind of sad to see it go the way of Pluto and no longer be a true planet/getting trapped in the abyss with Andross' death, unless whatever possible sequel following this brings the location back without bullshitting too hard.

@@hitmontree3736a few of them are different, but most of them return from 64. As for making another 64, it’s because they wanted things to feel familiar after the catastrophe that was Star Fox Command.

In the original James is definitively dead. But here it's strongly hinted by Andross's awareness of him that he's still alive, at least up to that point. 17:15

I wonder which specific wingman was “dedicated and fell in battle.” It could’ve been Satoru Iwata or James McCloud. But seeing that bill that was charged to General Pepper, Star Fox is a millionaire!

+omegaevolution It's definitely not much of a true remake with everything they changed. (Which isn't bad, but it does support Miyamoto and whoever's claim that this isn't a remake.) Starfox 64 DS pretty much gives us that remake. Which makes it super funny when Starfox 64 is an expanded remake of the original Starfox. :P

Next, PlatinumGames should retcon Star Fox Adventures, making it so you can play as Krystal as well as Fox.

This looks definetly like a beautifull remake of Starfox 64... I aint own a WiiU so I dont own the game. But when I see the Ending, its just beautifull. Good old Memories.

This battle is EPIC. The most epic final battle in the saga.

And there is andross, looking creepy as ever.

Ahh yes the classical 64 style

When I got to the final section, I was looking at the gamepad waiting for Andross to appear. He was talking, but nothing was happening. So I looked up at the TV and uh yeah that'll be in my nightmares On another note, I love how positively tickled Andross is with his own eeevil lines.

In this game with the halligram it looked like Andross had a body for once,but in the final battle all he had was the usual head & hands ,but I like how they made him more menacing looking, also I wish there was a full animated movie or TV show of star fox.

This is basically a remaster version of star fox 64 but more add on animations and a more detailed game

I've only played Star Fox 64 and never knew about this so it's amazing to me.

Starfox can't seem to decide if Andross is a ruthlessly lethal galaxy-ending tyrant or a live-in frenemy.

I love how nonchalant Fox is about having to fight the whole Star Wolf team at once.

That 1 v 4 against Star Wolf was so epic~ but I think the Hunter mobile sorta made it easy. But overall that fight looked so cool!

Looking back, I'm actually kind of glad they didn't do the "Brain Fight" with Andross, and instead made him full cybernetic. It makes a ton more sense that a mad scientist would transfer his brain into a look-alike cyber vehicle to portray himself as the God his followers believed he was. A lot more sense than a giant brainy boi surviving in space, anyway.

This is strangely the closest thing we have to a modern Macross game We have fighter and battroid (chicken walker) mode mode already, throw in the rotocopter controls for GERWALK and bam, a Variable Fighter

Andross is actually even scarier here than in Star Fox 64

Erm, I preferred his original lines. Though his current VA definitely improved his performance compared to Star Fox 3D, where he sounds way too robotic. In SF0 Andross sounds truly alive, and truly sinister. Kudos to the improved performance.

man I wish I had thought to change the controls for this fight it makes fighting in all range mode SO much easier when you can control where you aim without having to move the game pad TOO much this fight was such a pain in the ass with the default controls XD
