i hate this video. For the last couple of years I've been making fun of the Starfarer, trolling around with my mates "what ship am I getting next? hmmm maybe the Starfarer" and giggling like children. And in just 2 minutes you turned it into the COOLEST FUCKING THING I'VE SEEN. Maybe I should unmelt my Furies and get a Starfarer Great video mate, subscribed and hyped to see much more content!

It's like a personal security crew while refueling contracts.

This is awesome! Great work figuring it out. Would love for this to survive in some fashion in the final game.

i was joking around about being able to mount these to a ship like bats just like in the show ZOIDS... looks like my idea was not so far fetched

Always have been. the chances of doing a dutchman suddenly no matter were on the ship you were standing outside of a seat was no greater out there than inside. I am referring to the thankfully 99% dead bug that meant that you could be standing in your ship whilst in quantum, and then suddenly, floating in space.

Sadly it seems to have been partially fixed from my testing, it works if its layed down flat like normal, but it cant stick with its guns out (meaning if you get out, it flings the fury off)

add a ROC mining module for the Fury too instead of a weapons package

Or repair tools. Works like salvage but opposite. Perhaps u need to buy or find salvage to repair with , making more economy for salvage

remove the fuelpods and place the fury's near the rails. it will stay in place ( sorta gravity field)

Before it was officially released I was hoping we could mount the Fury on the back of a Connie in place of one of its other snub options. Is this video legit, or a 'what if' video? If it is legit, how did you get them to stick? The Fury is too massive to use a tractor beam to attach it, right?

this video is legit. Remove the fuel pods, bring the furys very close to the rails and the gravity well takes over. we managed to fit 4 snubs per side

@@ttocommunity Gravity well? Are you referring to a snap-to function or do you have to have the Starfarer up side down relative to a planet?

​@@bluexgreen1 Referring to the "gravity" of the Starfarer - any landing gear near the vicinity of a ship with this gravity will allow the gear to attach to the "carrier" ship.

@@bluexgreen1 there is a sorta magnetic field on the rail system. you can put the snubs in atmosphere or in space. that is up to you

Kind of sucks that the refueling part of the SF looks awesome and the rest of the ship is ass and outdated lol!

I had reinstalled this game for the 1st time since BEFORE 3.18, and honestly it was so janky and jittery I took it back off my PC. It had run so smooth from before. But even being on the transit in New Babbage was horrible. Never mind the NPCs running in place and "teleporting". Hoping they fix that sometime soon, would love to get back into it.

It seems that the landing gear is what lets the Merlin stick to a Starfarer. Have you gotten any non-snubs to fit? i.imgur.com/3c9IGcw.jpg

yeah we've managed to put different ships on the starfarer as well

I got another snub to work, but it was at a weird angle. i.imgur.com/DYJt2wo.jpg
