When you say the size of the lymph node you think about short axis or long axis? I mean is insignificant a lymph node with a long axis of 2.5 cm but 5 mm short axis?

You mean millimeter. 2.5cm would be about an inch long

William Winder No , I mean cm. 2.5 cm or 25 mm in long axis and 5 mm short axis.

@@Annie-fq5jp if you have a lymph node that is 5mm in the short axis, then its a 5mm lymph node and not a 2.5cm one. lenght really doesnt matter as long as the short axis is below 10mm

it is necessary for surgery witch medicin can use

I have noticeable lymph nodes in 2 of the areas he said you should not be able to feel it. Also have had tenderness in the exact location of the spleen which has been there for 4-5 months…….not good😢 Doctor recently diagnosed me with Celiac and when I told him about the spleen location pain he said come back in 3 month as a gluten free diet should take care of it

Submandibular glands are bimanually palpable but not the lymph nodes.

He missed occipital and sub mental in his presentation. Also feeling the carotid pulse bilaterally like he did can cause the patient to get light head, faint, and Brady down.
