"Stack & Tilt Made Golf FUN Again!" | Interview with LPGA Legend, Trish Johnson
I got the chance to sit down and talk with LPGA and LET Legend, Trish Johnson and chat Stack&Tilt, Major Championships, and the current state of Football in North London!
Trish talks about her introduction to Stack&Tilt via Authorized Instructor, Martin Park, and how understanding more about her technique made her more confident and allowed her to play the best golf of her life. In her own words, "Stack&Tilt made golf fun again!".
Johnson turned professional in March 1987. She won three tournaments in her first year as a professional and was Rookie of Year on the Ladies European Tour in 1987. She won four tournaments in 1990 and won the 1990 Order of Merit. Overall, she has won 19 tournaments on the Ladies European Tour and has finished in the top ten of the Order of Merit on thirteen occasions, including second places in 2000 and 2004 when she won the 2004 Wales "Golf as it should be" Ladies Open.
Johnson won the 1987 LPGA Tour Qualifying School to earn playing rights for the 1988 season. She has three wins on the US-based LPGA Tour. She won the 1993 Las Vegas LPGA tournament and the following week's LPGA Atlanta Women's Championship. Her last LPGA victory was the 1996 Fieldcrest Cannon Classic.
She was a member of the European Solheim Cup team in 1990, 1992, 1994, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2005, and 2007 and teamed with Laura Davies to represent England at the 2007 Women's World Cup of Golf.
Johnson has won six tournaments on the Legends Tour, including three senior women's major golf championships; the inaugural Senior LPGA Championship in 2017 and 2021 and the 2023 U.S. Senior Women's Open.

I was throwing a fit on the course years ago and my buddy asked me "how much did you pay to play today " when I told him the amount he replied if your that good they would pay you :)
Great interview, especially when Trish said, “…I think tour players probably do 99% of Stack & Tilt. They might not know they do. THEY MIGHT WANT TO SAY THEY DO…” Truer words were never spoken. And you’re right, Rob, about some of the garbage spewed by commentators on TV. I remember watching the Masters quite a few years ago when one of the commentators, who was a famous instructor, proceeded to contradict himself several times when analyzing different players swings.

So you have to rebuild your golf channel because golf tech took the other one after you bulit it up thats a shame Rob i love your teaching and golf content
