I’m 29 and from the UK, was obsessed with this song when I was 10 back in 2003 I think it came out? It’s funny because it did quite well here I’m sure it was in the top 10 in the charts but literally no one I know has ever heard of it. I used to go crazy when it came on the music channels. Every few years I come back to Stacie’s music and listen on repeat. I get nostalgic and realise how lucky I was to have my childhood when I did. This song and Stacie in general are so underrated.

I’m from the US but I visited the UK for 3 months in 2003 because my dad’s company sent him there for a work assignment. This song was on the Now 56 compilation which is where I heard it. I almost never heard of her stateside except when a friend’s mom put on a Christian-themed music television channel which played one of her older music videos.
