Very nice. Beats my version of AI image tweening by a planet sized landslide, but you might be interested that what I used was based on your ConvNetJS and used the 'network learns to paint an image' code (more than one image after modification) and doing the vector wandering thing, too.

@@syrupgoblin4920 Thanks for clarifying, I feel better now. I guess cynical ole me assumed you meant it in a bad way. Uncynical me hopes it will lead to an explosion of creativity and freedom. Cynical me expects 95% frantic efforts to appear absolutely normal, job-worthy, and you-should-buy-this-from -me-because-I-look-so-honest. I also think that the interim between now and machine sentience will be filled with con-artists using fake machine sentience to steal from people, get votes, grab power, manipulate the commodities market, and whatever other evils lie in the hearts of carbon-based lifeforms. (In my defense, I'm a dog person who inadvertently lives with 10 cats. This is enough to corrupt even the purest of hearts of which, If one can judge by karma, mine wasn't.)

The terrifying thing about machine perception is it feels so strangely non-biological.

Strange? Terrifying? ... Maybe it's just "New". ... Not that it seemed that way to me. It seemed like other videos I've seen. The only difference was it was done a lot faster cuz a person didn't have find and edit all that stuff together.

Well just had an idea that this is exactly what your brain does with what your eyes are transmitting to your neural cortex. Our brains are just better at weaving the signals together and way more efficient at reducing the noise :)
