St. Anne's Church is located just inside the Lion's Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem, Israel. The best preserved Crusader Church in Israel, St. Anne's dates back to 1,140 A.D. This area is thought to be the birthplace of Mary, Jesus' mother, and is considered the loveliest church in Jerusalem. This church is known for its acoustics, and pilgrims from around the world sing hymns within its walls. The 1st Baptist Church, Wetumpka, Alabama, led the other pilgrims in the hymn, "Amazing Grace".
