Thanks! I know it's a bit long, but I really wanted to cover everything about this fantastic fermenter! If you are looking to buy a conical for five gallon batches, look no further. Ss Brewing technologies has the best conical for the best price. Very high quality.

Nice video. Very detailed review. Did you ever post a vid on using the temp control system. That's how I stumbled on this video.

Ausprep99. Thats awesome man. They are fantastic fermenters. I want to save up and get the 14 gallon one soon. You won't be disappointed sir.

Will it make 3 gallon to 4 gallon batch? Also with the racking arm, you would be ahead to tap (bang) the side of the fermenter several times the day before and day of kegging, bottling, etc. THEN slowly open up the bottom valve and allow most of the yeast to be eliminated. Reducer form 1 1/2" to something like a barb with small piece of clear vinyl tubing would give you a good indication when yeast was removed (and saved if you wish) and when you get into the beer. Stop there. NOW do your racking and you'll have a lot better chance of not getting too much sediment in the final product.

Vernon Jenewein I would say you could ferment four gallons but three might be a stretch. That would leave an awful lot of oxygen in the vessel.

How often do you have to put more ice in the cooler though? Seems tedious. Also, what if you need to heat it up as opposed to cooling it down? Is there no heating element that would do that on the device?

I have ordered based on this video and some other research - can't wait for delivery which is overnight too :)

I'm thinking about getting either their Brew Bucket or the 7 gal Chronical. Did you make another video using it?

Man that's a good one at 1:38 "They go the extra mile. They could have used a plain brown box " LOL What a selling point.

although it may not be a huge selling point, I was more making an observation that they care more about there product. I have two other conicals and they both came in plain brown boxes. It might nit have cost a lot to put the logo and diagram on this one but it just adds one more ribbon to the whole package.

Point I make is the box is not important to a buyer. I could care less about the box. It's what's is the box that counts. It make it seem like you are sucking up to this company not reporting to potential buyers what they need to know. Just saying...

They are actually really smooth. You can see them but you can barely feel them at all.

tmc6992. It isn't bad as long as you passivate it every once in a while. It is a bit of work but that is every fermenter.

You're praising this fermenter before it's even out of the box. Definite review fail.
