This video sounds great, and isn't suffering from the muddiness of the previous two. The R3 sounds as clear, detailed, open, and dynamic as it always has, and as good as the Revel and Focal 906 are, they are both possibly still outshined by this reference level speaker, befitting its R3 moniker (the R for Reference), although they both come close, and the Revel does it for 1/3 the price. To my ears, the R3 is the brightest and the Revel the most laid back, with the Focal falling between the two.
With the R3, the Nova 300 sounds better than before. It's just on the border of being too bright.

Hi, any chance to make a new video with KEF R3 meta?
These speakers never sound bad with any amp, but to me with this Nova the Revel Concertas beat the R3s in their sense of transparency, soundstaging and more weighty, punchy bass. The R3s don't give their tweeter material away as much as the Concerta's do in the upper mids and top end, but I would probably prefer to own the Concertas.
The Nova 300 on the R3s sounds pretty indistinguishable from the C338 on the R3s which I guess is a vote of confidence in both amps.

The R3 has always been the most consistent speaker with all amps here, retaining its basic sonic signature more than other speakers, no matter what amp it's paired with.
