I own these pair for a year and they're still breaking in sound getting better over time. warm sweet sounding speakers.👍👍😊😊

I got a white discounted and open box ES15 for $103 after tax. Paired it with a $110 RSL 2 channel amp and a $ 65 fb market place sonance MS8 sub. Not a bad introduction to “hifi”.

Nice combination and sound.

This combination sounds pretty good. In the song Seasons, you can hear the U-shaped sound of the speakers very well. The bass is incredibly good, but there is a spike in the highs that hurts my ears.

I think these Polks are either wired out of phase or there's some ESP ambience in this signal, but I'm not hearing muffled sound in this demo. The Polks sound more than satisfactorily crisp to me. Tonal balance is too lean, but that's the ES's sound. The stereo imaging does sounds diffuse and unfocused though.

They definitely are out of phase

Since we haven't heard these before, I suppose I could be wrong about these speakers, and maybe they're a lot more sucked out in the midrange than the ES20 is.

This speaker sounds quite muffled and veiled here, like the R100 with the 338, and the 806 with this amp. This recording setup is still lacking in consistency.

Based on what I hear of these in this video compared to what I've heard of the ES20 here (with different amps), I would take the ES20, which are more balanced, and less sucked out in the midrange, than these are.

I'm with DM on this one is doesn't sound right.
