The reason why surround speakers are usually just one driver/speaker in a very small cab/shell (which are also referred to as satellite speakers) is because there is no bass on the rear channels. It is just voice and/or highs and mids that is produced on surround channels. So these speakers being surround or rear channels would be an absolute waste of power. Unless you set the surround reciever to A+B channel setting. Then you will get bass on the rear channels. If you have an A+B channel stereo reciever then the rear channels will produce bass with the highs and mids.

Bonjour, et bien tout dépend de votre pièce je dirais. Les ES15 jusqu’à 20m² et les ES20 à partir de 20m². La signature est évidemment la même mais avec la ES20 y 'aura forcement plus de basse et peut être un medium plus ou moins présent. Malheureusement je n'ai pas fait de comparaison entre les 2. Mais à 200 euros neuf, honnêtement, c'est pas une simple affaire, c'est un cadeau clairement.

Hello Jorge, thank you. I think that for video, this is not quite what you need. Personally, I would put 2 Polk S55Es on the front, 2 Polk S15Es on the back and the HTS10 subwoofer (otherwise the PSW10 which is less expensive). Thus, you have a coherent and efficient system. Regards.

they just rest on it. The sound would have been better if they were on "suspensions"

I bought these speakers new for 200 euros. I don't know of any equivalent. The price/quality/performance ratio is excellent! The only flaw for my personal taste is the lack of openness and material in the medium. There is always better of course, but I like the sound it provides is obvious.

@@bakesven8923 Recently I did a test with the R100 (smaller speaker unfortunately the test is not very fair). see on my channel. But there is no doubt that the sound is really superior! Treble very very precise and very pure. A more articulated bass, fast with a better seat. The medium is much more open, the sound stage is palpable with a certain depth. That said, the ES20 has a musicality that leaves no one indifferent. For those who like warm sound with soft treble it's really good. The R200 provides more bass and will be suitable for larger rooms. The R100 is great but I think they are made for rooms of 20m² maximum
