With his family's support, Srikanth began breaking down every barrier put in his path, even graduating from one of the world’s top-ranked universities. Now an INK Fellow, Srikanth is applying his considerable grit and brainpower-not to mention his charm-to help differently abled individuals integrate into mainstream Indian society.

CEO, BOLLANT INDUSTRIES
Srikanth become the first visually challenged student in the country permitted to study science beyond grade 10, after a lot of struggle with the authorities. He went on to start Bollant Industries, an organization that employs uneducated disabled employees to manufacture eco-friendly disposable consumer products and packaging solutions.

Bollywood will romanticise his biopic like they did with Dhoni. There will be songs with titles like Pyaar toh Andha Hota Hai (No offense to the great Srikanth)

IITs respects talent of everyone but can't afford all those facilities required by visually challenged person. I don't know present scenario but that must be the reason in the past.

@@happyman6490 Sir just see the judging criteria of IIT over MIT and all other US universities. They have a holistic approach meanwhile again IIT has selection less than 1%. Due to which all bright minds across all over world choose MIT as first choice.

MIT won the hearts of Indians for giving Srikanth the opportunity to study and succeed.
Watched the movie yesterday and searched for this speech today. You are amazing. I feel so proud to be your fellow country man.
Now I know why MIT is better than IIT. Plz don't call him blind, he can see better than us.

IITs don't fall under top 100 because of infrastructure. Believe me I know the because I am studying in one amongst the top 50 universities in US. These guys are not as smart or hardworking as us. But the infrastructure and the access to resources is in abundance making these a better institutes.
