In all honesty I think he deserves a car build of his own to be on the channel. Like Adam goes out and buys him a car he’s always wanted and the whole team works on making it how johan wants it to be. I know he’s a nice guy and probably wouldn’t ever ask for such a thing but I think he deserves it, especially after all the amazing work he’s done on the 34.

@@drewpatto8433 I know this. I’ve built a steel 6ft wide blasting cabinet. Biggest things I go through are sand, glass, & the ceramic tips for the gun. & air compressor repairs.

i really love how much attention you(adam) takes in the little stuff. Even a silicone bead looks nice when done right!!

The sand gets dirty over time & clogs the line, if you actually wear the gloves & put the tip of the gun to your palm blocking the gun, the gunk will back flow into the sand & unclog the line allowing the sand to flow properly & efficiently, hope it helps!

I don’t think he’ll need a rebuild, Since he’s using his fd body kit. But those would be sick. Just not for what he’s using it for. Smashing up 5k+ wheels on a “drift beater/seat time car” isn’t worth it lol

It was interesting to see the results of the mystery SR20. Another good example to learn what can go off with the pan. The RX 7 was pretty cool. The ones that appear at Daikoku PA on Sam's vids are some real classy cars. Getting off the length and weight of the corvette would certainly be a different kind of experience and ride.

Don't know if it was already mentioned but upol raptor liner Bed liner kits come in a tintable version you mix base coat in to match your paint, would be perfect for the wheel wells and undercarriage

I worked in a shop where we sand blasted stuff, if you can find the stainless steel ball media it leaves the nicest finish and it also eats through paint pretty well but mainly I liked it for the finish it leaves on the parts. Try it maybe! 🤷‍♂️

That bolt which the backing broke out of now needs some form of sealer. Otherwise there's a leak path for oil

Funny. I work In aerospace , I use those blasters all the time. You need to maintain the magnet in the hopper. Check and make sure the seal and pressure check valve are good on the door . Put a turn table in that blaster. Prevent damage to the parts and saves time plus easier on the operator..

Found an FC like a week ago $2,300... but its in NC. Its a weird car too. 200k, rebuilt engine that doesn't run, looks like some surface rust, and a mint interior.

These vids are keeping my hyped to work my my silvia's as well :D have to swap full driveline from one to the other. Then i have a jz to go into the shell :D

Dawn soap power spray will take care of the oil stains on the block. Does wonders vs. oil but won’t hurt paint. (Also works on oil stained clothes, concrete, interior, etc…)

@ 2:52 time stamp. Them two pieces are from the secondary oil pan. When the 10s im assuming are over torqued it brakes the back of the casting for the threads. Probably have oil leaks. Look inside the secondary pan.

Usually you gotta hot tank the pan to get all dirt and stuff off then when you hit it with a sandblaster it’ll come off quickly

The glass media or sand media will impregnate the metal not to mention its almost impossible to remove all of the media. Media blasting heats up the surface and it will get stuck in the pores more or less the aluminum then cast iron but when the engine gets warm "sometimes" that media gets dislodged and since its light gets pushed through the motor wreaking havoc. Ive personnelly had this happen to me at work, when i do engine parts i have a separate cabinet with just walnut media and thats way safer for engines. Dry ice blasting is the way to go or steam washer. I hate to be "that guy" just relayying a little info that might safe alot of headache in the future!
