@@hughellis9169 any parks in your area, with small birds like chickadees, nut hatchers, etc.? If so, get some plain sunflower seeds and peanuts, put a little in your flattened hand, and hold it in the air for the little guys to see. It is also fun and makes you feel content. 🐦🙂

Some humans would just shove all the nuts up their nose and then blow them out at anyone unfortunate enough to be passing by at the time.

I remember the first time I saw chipmunks. My late husband & I were walking our dog on a university campus. Well, I flipped out & began screeching, "OMG, CHIPMUNKS! THEY ARE SO CUTE! OMG! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!" This was much to the good-natured amusement of several students passing by. I told them, "I'm from New Orleans! I've never seen a CHIPMUNK before! THEY ARE SO CUTE!" I was in my 40s. You can imagine my reaction the first time I saw a deer in our backyard.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Samy is like…”how much are you going to stuff in your mouth MUNCHY, us squirrels need some nuts too”!! 😂😂😂❤

I’ve always found that chipmunks seem to be pretty comfortable around people compared to a lot of other animals.

You are very kind to feed the squirrels and chipmunks every day. Nuts are not cheap and you said you often refill the bowl many times a day. God bless you. ❤❤

Absolutely agreed. I try that every winter with my beautiful birds, and this is not a cheap hobby. But they always pay for me with their songs. And it's realy heartwarming. As well as these videos. I like them all. God bless every good people!!😇🤗🙏👍🏻

People do not realise how much character and intelligence squirrels have. I have been blessed for the past 3 years to have a wild squirrel/s visit me every day to be fed. The mother , who seems to trust me, brings her baby's into our lounge ( this is the 2nd litter ) to be fed by hand while she sits on top of my head/shoulder eating walnuts without a care in the world. I have not named her/them & apart from the odd gentle stroke on the mummy squirrel I never attempt to touch them. I just let them do their thing. Although we have had a few occasions where another squirrel has come into my home following them and all hell has broken loose as they jump and fly around chasing each other knocking and smashing anything that gets in their way to get out into the garden. We have so many vids & photos of all this and I really should post them on social media.

Squirrel can't help but envy the chipmunks ability to pack his mouth full of nuts.

The chipmunk has decided to open his own establishment that is why he kept coming back to stock up on product for his place. 😂❤

These are the most polite critters I think I've ever seen! Everyone waits their turn, even - unbelievably! - the blue jay, who apparently acknowledged he was in the wrong line, lol. And it is hilarious to watch Munchy work thru the logistics of the (huge, to him) walnut halves.

It's interesting that here in Canada, the vernacular French name for a chipmunk is "Suisse" (Swiss). The real name is "Tamia rayé". How they got their nickname is beyond me.

It's interesting the squirrel being the larger animal. I have seen squirrels get agressive and territorial with each other.

I feed squirrels daily. I have noticed that the little red ones are the toughest ones around. They will chase the black and gray ones away from any food. The chipmunks are so fast that no one can catch up to them. They are fascinating to watch.

yeah it is funny, chipmunks are very territorial with other chipmunks, they can be agressive but they like people and seem to tolerate the squirrels, i like how munchy emtpies the bowl and the squirrels are sitting there watching.

What Munchy can fit in his cheeks! And it’s June 21 - a long way till winter, but he’s still filling his winter larder! The chipmunks and squirrels are so cute. And those flying leaps off the windowsill into the bushes amaze me!

Feefee was about to leave but heard the voice of his sweet human friend and came up to see her, I just love these precious interactions...God's creatures being taken care of by His precious daughter, so refreshing and peaceful to watch. I'm surprised raccoons haven't showed up yet😊

I remember being at a museum in Sacramento years ago and a squirrel kept coming to this guy's window by his desk and knocking, tap tap tap with it's paws on the slightly open window until given a peanut. Then a few minutes later back it would be for another one. It was so cute. I got more enjoyment out of watching the squirrel than walking around the museum.

Your squirrels and chipmunks are so polite, mine are way less nice, and one of my chipmunks is just nasty! He pitches a fit and squeaks at the birds, squirrels, and other chipmunks (and even ends up spitting food out of his mouth sometimes in the process), and even chases after rabbits! He's so grumpy!

I adore the names you gave them! Each is so precious! Both name and creature. Especially Feefee! I love how the squirrel came up and semi in when there were no nuts outside. They are all SO well behaved. I wish they could teach my friends their kind ways. I'm so glad Munchy lives so close and you can see his den from your window. Sooo cool!
