You live in a paradise. I'm on the FL gulf coast and we have the white sand and emerald water.... but that's it. No rocks, coral.. just sand. No structure. But I am thankful... better than being landlocked. Huzzah on that Beard ! 👍

manmade structure is the way to go on the gulf in FL if you cannot get out in a boat. bridges, jetties, piers, pilings, docks [the older and uglier, the better,] all make for great structure. if you can get out in a boat you'll find a whole heap of manmade reefs. most of the cities publish the coordinates. good for tourism and the environment, a win for everyone.

whiting fishing is awesome way to relax and kick back after days of fishing for kings on the stones

Gido’s cave… top stuff very enjoyable. One of my favourite places to surf was Mutton Bird… love the squeaky sound of the sand.

Love this kind of bread n butter fishing. I go for gar and mullet/herring sometimes just for the fun of it.

Always wanted to fish that bit of water....for the same things. Probably should hold a flatty or two as well. Wait for the mulie run in April/May. If it's big and they school in the harbour then expect near meter long kings under the schools.

Mate love the kgs dont love the wrasse though :D the coastline and water there is exactly like kangaroo island SA the whiting are coming back around the metro beaches in adelaide now since they changed the bag limit to 12 fish years ago im getting them from the shore, will head out in the yak soon this month for them! keep up the good work and enjoy the south west! also when im campin and cookin i make a batter out of flour and water salt pepper dip yr squid and fish in it first then the panko it sticks way better!

I have fished shark bay and also up around Karratha. Mid north would be Geraldton/Kalbarri? Always up for trying something new. Have thought about Wagoe area. Yet to get around to it

So what size squid jig were u using 2.50g or a 3.50g Gido, I manly use a 3,50g rub um not saying don’t want everybody using my trick 😂

Yeh they have been seen in this area before. Can potentially get them in the ocean anywhere down here. Some places more likely than others

Sorry mate can't deal with the head mount. It's alright as I don't really like squid anyway but here's the comment and like for algo and apologies on the short view time this round. Proly should explain I've just had cataract surgery last month so that might be why the movements gave me a headache.
