Sorry about the blurring, I don't always bother but I like to keep my better spots to myself. And the camera shake is annoying in second half of video, I think I will use the tripod as a monopod next time. Still learning 🤙🏽

Safe from most but not the locals. Ive had a few spots start getting flogged soon after I made a video so I will just be cautious which places I share

I can’t get over how small the fish look when pulling them up the rock and yet they are huge when landed!

I grew up fishing the San Joaquin Delta and mountain streams in Northern California and when I got older, then I fished the Pacific Ocean in San Diego and off Baja California in Mexico. I always wonder what fishing is like around the world.

Ok. Why not? Just kidding. I had two young ones about fifty years ago. I realize now what a good guy my Dad was to teach me to catch big fish. And my older son taught his boy too. The cycle of the life of fishermen continues. Gido had his boy out showing him the basics. Maybe they will teach my great grandkids what he teaches us. Just hoping this continues.

Larry Tischler Ha I’ve just noticed a word frightening (bloody auto spell checker) NOT SUPPOSE TO SAY (FRIGHTENING) been fishing for decades OFF THE ROCKS, cliffs & so on hav ended on my BuTt a few times even with cleats on the volleies I was actually referring to the slopes even tied off ropes.... BuTt hay everybody in joy ya fish’en big red, kings and whatever.......

Just remember to do it while you are still young enough to climb down and back up those slopes, I mean cliffs.

@@saginawdan they have never had their line stretched or if they did, they broke it off. There is no help for fishing losers. They think too small. In Gido's case, I find it difficult to imagine him not getting pulled off a ledge quite often, safety line or not. Maybe he is spending time editing out some of those moments. (?)
