Square Threading a New Leadscrew Nut for my Boynton & Plummer Shaper - Belt Driven Machine Shop

Working on some repairs to a B&P Shaper currently in the shop. In this video I make a new nut for the leadscrew using my belt driven Drummond lathe with its original reversing set up - Hope you enjoy!

    Now I have seen two of these shaper and you have them both .I have a Rockford 24" hydraulic shaper that I use . Are all your machines belt driven it is quite the collection aka The Ironworker my channel

    The 24" sounds very cool! Shapers can be very handy. Yeah all my machine tools are belt driven from the same system. I did have a small electric shaper once, but sold it when I got the belt driven ones.
