Square Threading a New Leadscrew Nut for my Boynton & Plummer Shaper - Belt Driven Machine Shop
Working on some repairs to a B&P Shaper currently in the shop. In this video I make a new nut for the leadscrew using my belt driven Drummond lathe with its original reversing set up - Hope you enjoy!

What a fantastic shop truly a step back in time. Third time a charm. Not a easy thing to make and your skill and painstaking work paid off. s

Very nice love to see more of your shop.
Awesome job. My Rhodes shaper/slotter will need this treatment, it's a big help to see it done. Cheers!

I enjoyed the video thanks
Brilliant thanks
Great work. I feel spoiled to have a brake and clutch on the lathe! Where are you based? Is that a Norfolk accent? Thanks, look forward to more content.
On my 4th video now of yours , really liking the content a bit like a Great British version of Dave Richard’s old time machine shop 😁

The 24" sounds very cool! Shapers can be very handy. Yeah all my machine tools are belt driven from the same system. I did have a small electric shaper once, but sold it when I got the belt driven ones.
Boring bar could've done with being a good bit heavier... 😐🇬🇧🏴😐
