Thank you for watching my videos. First you need to know the finished height of the seat. You subtract the padding and the difference is the finished tie down of the springs measured from the webbing. The springs need to be tie downed 1/3 of their original height. So you add 1/3 to the difference.This is the real height of the spring.

That didn't make sense! Why do you put the nails under the frame but tie the springs on top? How do you get the twine to the top of the frame?
