Spring Steelhead Fishing

Great Lakes steelhead fishing during early spring 2014, using centerpin gear. Join us as we land some beautiful steelhead, and a surprise river beast! Most action came on spawn bags, and a few on jigs.

Great job...classic ending. Making the trip up the middle of next week. Hope the donkeys are hungry!
You guys keep it fun and cause SCENES! Exactly how it should be done. Keep doing your thing.
My favorite fish filming move now has a name....It is called "The Rick".
I actually sighed with relief when you landed that first brown, I was like pushed up against the back of my chair!
Nice video. One of your best. Can't wait for our ice to melt. Keep up the good fishing and videos!
Best centerpin steelhead videos on the TUBE.
Them fish have a lot of color! Beautiful! Great vid man!
Best centerpin videos by far! Keep em coming!
Nice to see the fly by slow mo shots. It's been awhile.
Best put together video yet IMO, great angles and better fish! Mr. Rick there was on fire! He even dodged a blatant attempt to slap off a Trophy brownie! Great Job!
as always, a great video! very well put together
I like that top Go Pro view...cool vid and some great looking water!
Awesome work guys!
Awesome video as always!
They're some beautiful fish, great fishing as always guys! ATB.
The tall camera pole is bad to the bone. I have been thinking about that, thanks for the confirmation.
I so need to get me a 'sky cam'! lol (and a 'net cam'! :-) Great footage/editing as usual JB! Thanks for the motivation!!! lol
👏 love it, another sick vid!
it is not spring yet!! i only wish it was.... we just got 6 inches of snow after being 50 degrees out for 2 days... but awesome video! i cant wait to go out for some stealhead.
JB, I showed up to work at 0500 this morning and to my surprise I saw that you had uploaded a video. This was another one of your works of art for sure. It looks like you guys might be coming out of your deep winter freeze. I will try to send some of our 80 degree weather your way. Great job on some really nice fish. Steve

Wow, great filming. lol ear to ear
"Spring" I was thinking this musta been one of last year's videos for a second. We gotta be weeks from spring still! Nice joke. Regardless, nice vid again JB. Like Flyboi mentioned, how about some set-up, tips/tricks added in the prelude or halfway for education sake. Love seeing those hooksets while I'm sitting in the office. Hope to see you guys on that river in 2 weeks. I'll be shorebound though.

Do you guys think you could do a set up/ Tips and tricks video while you're on the river? I've been on the muskegon 3 times this year and got skunked every time...

Robert Unversaw Already did ;) Just not with pins. We'll get after 'em again this summer/fall with the pins. Salmon Fishing: Casting Crankbaits
How do you determine the depth to set the float?
@ConsummateSportsman
10 жыл бұрын
Keep setting it deeper until you see your float go somewhat sideways in the water when your bait is dragging bottom. Then slightly adjust your float to keep your bait a bit shallower so it's running just above bottom. In winter, your presentation should be within a foot of bottom to get the best results.
