Im sick right now too. Currently resting up at a ryokan in Kyoto. Hoping to catch the blossom at Hirosaki when my itinerary takes me up to Aomori on the 27th. I know they just past their peak viewing period. Hope I don't completely miss out.

im so surprised how everyone said this sakura season was bad / short but it was my 'first real one' so for me it was awesome!! i have nothing to compare it to and i swear i took sakura pics for like 3 weeks xD

Compared to last year I’d say it definitely was worse this year 😭

Aoyama cemetery was always a good place for cherry blossoms....but it can get crowded also.

Love that park! Maybe a tad crowded however 😬
