Those game cover crops are well worth filming and showing your non-farming followers on here as they are so important for the farmland wildlife. On that note when you were field walking I’m fairly sure I heard Yellow Wagtails which would have chosen your fields as feeding or nesting sites, having come all the way from South Africa. Those interference pneumatic fittings are standard industrial units. Try Hayley or other industrial suppliers. R/S do them but not always the cheapest sometimes Farnell are cheaper. You could use a short section of pneumatic pipe on bored out hole and superglue in. Don’t overdo the glue! Then add push fit tee. Industry runs on these ad hocs and production lines are full of them in small factories with tighter budgets. Think simple on plastic and keep the walls as thick as possible. If you replant laburnum trim some of the top off so roots can gain on the top. Toxic to all herbivores by the way. Students are rarely taught these days it seems they absorb from strange social media sites. Perhaps we have too many universities. If we halved them and had a larger science and maths component might that be an improvement and then we could bring back 5 and 7 year apprenticeships and large numbers of people could learn a beneficial trade! Too much talk and too little action!

Hi Olly the nylon fittings you had are bsp thread not metric, you only get them in m5 or m6 in metric threads, we sell a whole range of the fittings and pipework solutions, send me one and we can have a look at what is possible to be done with them.

Tell me about it Olly, those nozzle bodies are ridiculously expensive! If David’s still looking for an alternative thou, I was able to buy just the centre piece of the nozzle body from my chap who mot’s my sprayer, which just involves removing the circlip and sliding the broken part off. So as long as you’ve got a set of circlip pliers in ur toolbox it’s still a field fix 😁👌🏻

Hi Olly, How was my day, well I better start with yesterday. I work from home, making model train parts and live steam narrow gauge locomotives in 16mm to the foot scale (4 x your Hornby train set size). Yesterday I was 8 hours in the workshop, standing at my lathe making steel discs into tyres to go on my 3D printed wheel centres for a customer. It doesn't seem like much, but today I mowed the lawn and then spent a few more hours at the lathe, and tonight my feet are in pain. Why? well, I am disabled with metal plates in my left ankle on the outside and more screws on the inside, my right foot too has screws in it and so does both the bones in my lower right arm with more plates and screws there. It's hard work and usually indoors I am still working, with training myself new skills or cleaning up 3D parts ahead of the next days work. At times I tend to my wife who is also disabled because of a stomach issue due to trauma of her bowels. We were both in a bad car accident in 2011 and we have had to crack on regardless as there was no compensation, even though the head on car crash wasn't our fault. Just the way things go. We've been watching your channel for a while now, it's a great way to take our mind off things and see how others put their wits to the wind and crack on.
