Yes, that was pretty cool . I’ve never seen that before in another video. At first I started laughing because I’m just used to laughing at these videos. Then, it dawned on me that it was kind of artistic. Not exactly why come here , but cool 😎

I Love seeing little Monty’s face resting on the edge of the boat with his eyes closed, just taking it all in ! Beautiful weather, relaxing water ride, with one of his besties, he has got it made!!! Great video Matthew as usual! Well worth the wait!!

As a video/graphic artist, I must agree with Christa! The beautiful transition from Winter to Spring was absolutely pristine! Monty’s squeeking and camp setup was perfect, as always 😋

Matthew & Monty…..I just want to say thank you for so many years of adventures, laughter & silliness. I always look forward to your videos. Unfortunately I just found out I have a brain tumor & meet with a neurosurgeon next week to discuss options. Never thought in my 40’s I would be faced with something like this. I don’t know what my future holds as far as surgery & prognosis but I just wanted to make sure you knew how much all of this has meant to me. Maybe even more so right now trying NOT to focus or think about the negative. Easier to do with distractions like watching my KZread channel. I know if Monty were here he would totally give me some of the doggie unconditional love. It’s amazing how they can just sense & know when something is wrong. Even in a person they’ve never met. My doggie has been by my side every day & night with extra love & snuggles. Glad to see the ole SS you can’t sink me survived. It’s like that 15 year old shirt that is just so comfy you can’t get rid of it. That boat has some history. It’s earned every single scratch & ding. Even the dingy who paddles it…🤣. Had to lighten the mood here. PS….totally snuck up on Monty with the ole sleeping pad Shenanigans.

Wow that was an amazingly cool fade from the winter to the summer! My husband and I were like "why winter?!?" but then we were like "woooooah coooooool!" Seriously well done!

I love to see people foraging, I wish I felt confident enough to start doing so myself, but I still have trouble picking out my tomatoes at the grocery store lol. I loved this video!

Matt it's good to see you and Monty camping this Spring. My State is on fire, and they have closed 3 major forest until December. If I want to go camping, we will have to go to another state. It's very sad to see some of the most beautiful forest go up in flames. 😢

The transition shots from Winter Camp to Spring Camp were genius & soooo cool. I can't get over how clear the water was, those were some great shots you got of the underwater community. It looked just so beautiful out there with the Blue Sklies, a few fluffy clouds & the Sun sparkling on the water. Here in the mountains of eastern Kentucky and Tennessee we would call those wild morel mushrooms “dry land fish” and they are truly delicious. We usually fry them in bacon fat after they have been dredged in cornmeal seasoned with salt and pepper. I think those wild leeks are also called ramps. They grow wild all over this area. They are strong flavored, indeed, and you know you have eaten them days after the meal as the scent stays with you. Although I had just eaten breakfast when I watched your video, the fish with pasta, leeks, and wild mushrooms made my mouth water. Love your adventures with Monty. Stay safe and have fun!!!

I’m from NE Tennessee, camping on the roan mountain, hunting and picking ramps, cooking them with taters/country ham was the BEST! 🌱🥔🏕🏔🌸🥰

I have watched probably the majority of your videos with Ruger in Monte you are hilarious 🤣 I appreciate your efforts to filming is a lot of work and I like your humor! I've learned a lot from you I just started watching these videos about 10 months ago but I've watched hours and hours of many different Bushcrafters. I am not retired I'm 63 and I live in Arizona and I want to get out this gives me the bug. I plan to do a lot of camping it was like when I was growing up I was always camping in the woods.
