Re-write the history books to include "The Tolle Road" crossing the Delaware! Inquiring minds want to know though. Did you have dinner and a few beers first too? Loved the history Tolle. While the bridge wasn't there in 1776 it still looks pretty historic too. Thanks for bringing us along.

One must not cross the Delaware on an empty stomach.

Enjoyed all the history, but yes, I would have liked a little more than a tent, canteen and shaggy blanket. 😂. Love the walk across the river. We need to get that direction.

Yeah, I think I’d stick with the RV if I were you. Site is only about 30-45 minutes from Philadelphia
