    @@byylue4564 Of course not. Museums will pay big money for these artifacts. I was not suggesting he just hand it over! I worked for 27 years in a Museum/Library and I can tell you how valued these items are especially when made available to the general public to view. Also these items have a better chance of survival when they are kept in climate and light controlled environments. Archivists and other specialists know how to preserve these precious items!     Lol the expert made an honest appraisal at 150k and this is why we never see that guy in any episode again. Most of the others always do the appraisal at half the asking price or a bit lower so that Rick can finish and justify low balling the customer.

    At that point, there’s no reason to sell an Eisenhower signed book for a Nixon/Ford autograph. There’s no purpose. I would tell that guy, to just get the Nixon/Ford autograph and keep the book in his collection. So keep the mansion, get the condo and make it into an AirBnB.

    I would much rather have a copy of the Nixon pardon, signed by President Nixon and President Ford, rather than a book signed by President Eisenhower. The pardon will be framed and put up on the wall. And while Eisenhower's signed book is very special - its not as engaging as the pardon signed by both presidents.

    My mother was a direct descendant of William Hooper, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence, and there are family documents proving her lineage. A branch of the family eventually moved up to Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

    You have a Lincoln collection, but you want to sell a Lincoln item that only a few are in existence, so that you can buy more Lincoln items? Doesn't that go against having a Lincoln collection?     Well I guess the GW 3 pc suit is priceless!!!! I just dug around, and couldn't find anything about it actually being sold ever! But, i did find out that in 2012, George Washington's personal copy of the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights sold for just under $10M!!!! So, there's that..... LOL :)

    Idk if these are older or more recent but I saw clips of her she was blonde and her hair was more up, she looked younger and way brighter and cheery. This one she acts very subdued and bored. Maybe it's the guy bringing in the books she was cheery for. Adam I think is thr collectors name. He and she have a TV thing.

    I’m confused the Abe Lincoln signature. In another episode Rick says a famous forger always lined up the A with the L and Lincoln didn’t. Then in this episode with the A and the L lined up, it was authenticated by the expert.
