You guys should play Spiritfarer. Its about this girl (and her cat) and they take care of spirits on their ship and then take them to the afterlife, but all the spirits are people who she met while she worked as a nurse

i love how when your sanity goes down in the game, it goes down in real life, because you start frantically looking, and your brain makes up differences when there are none there, and you start remembering things wrong, or thinking you saw something, sometimes to the point where you miss the real anomalies because you're so paranoid

this was awesome! death watch is another spot the different spooky game if you guys are interested. Observation duty inspired a really cool genre tbh

Honestly, I think some of the things don't have animations because you're not supposed to see it. I would assume a game like this would generate a cue of anomalies that will happen and sometimes you just happened to be the in the room when they were scheduled. I don't think you were supposed to see the towels change sides, I think you were just supposed to enter the room and they've changed.
