Woohoo! This race just amazing! One of bestest today's races! 🤪 Please upload this race in full version!
I think the FIA would say that the number 10 car generates to much dirty air causing the number 70 car to spin. So 20 second penaylty for car 10 😂

Tricky to keep your concentration when the driver following is willing to consider such moves.

the commentators were something else hahah, fitting for the racing i'd say
During these 10 laps I got more emotions and adrenaline than from any modern race, castrated with the help of idiotic rules! The battle between the Cooper-Jaguar T38 and Maserati 250S pilots was already magnificent and intense. But suddenly this wild Lotus pilot also unceremoniously intervened!) I was rooting for the tridents, Richard Wilson showed fantastic driving, it's a pity that he retired at the end of the race. But it's still a pleasure to see it! 👏

I am thinking maybe Richard Wilson got a mistake and Smith-Hilliard in the Lotus is too close to evade him. That would explain why the stewards hadn't penalised him...

@@jcgabriel1569 Hi! I think you're right, I reviewed this moment several times and also came to the same opinion. What a wonderful race Juan! I think this was the best thing in current Monaco, what do you think?

@@barondegil1 well, there's the pre-war grid A1, with the Maserati 4CM coming in third. And the better result is at Grid A2, the pre-61 front-engined Formula One grid. 9 Maserati and Maserati-engined cars, seven finished inside the top 10! The only other cars in the top ten were the winning Ferrari 246, a Lotus 16, and the Ferguson P99...

@@jcgabriel1569 I believe that if you don’t focus on subjective preferences for brands, pilots, etc. - it was the sports racing cars race (RACE C) that was the most spectacular and emotionally intense. There was a lot going on in the lead group during the 10 laps. It was reminiscent of real races in the 50s, as you can read about it in old articles or see it in newsreels.
This really bought back memories for me. My Father owned and raced NOY 1 in the late 70s. As a youth, I sat next to him as he took it on a fast run up Prescott Hill Climb. We had some amazing racing days with this car. She was red back then.
there's more action in "vintage" racing than current series.....without all the tecnical aids and gimmicks....

you say that as if technical aids are bad, as if aids like stability control & abs is the reason for half of road crashes being avoided. and they came from racing

You need some WEC in your life.

Because they are slow. Ofcourse theres going to be more action when cars are slsow because its easier to overtake. And f1 doesnt have technical aids. Wec hypercars dont have many either.
0:43 Damn the gray car looks fine with those fins🥵

This looks cartoonish and awkward. But it drives well on this road.
Great Racing
Da muss ich wider sprechen.Oldtimer-Rennen zieht immer noch das Publikum magisch an.

Sorry: wider sprechen.🏎️👍
looks like the same spot where aryton senna hit the wall in Monaco 🧐
shows how much the width effects the passing opportunities.
Great action, but oh my! What are those rare classic cars insured for? They were pretty damn fast as well, but are they handicapped in any way? Surely not driving at top speed like back in the 1950s/60s? 😮
This event was so cool
Touch of the Jack Brabhams!
Kind of a shame I noticed a lot less fans there I guess vintage car racing is not as popular as current series are.
Crazy
Less mechanical grip, smaller lighter cars and less aero = more action and excitement 🙏!
Bummer!
0:43 - Didn't know these fellas were two trailer park girls... HA!
Is the narrator drunk?
