They didn't need another point t forward. Sengun dominates the ball and operates as a facilitator in the half court. And then you have amen thompson, who is also a point forward who was forced to play off the ball since sengun and Fred vanvleet had the ball most of the time. Adding another point forward to that would be a waste of his talent. They need to package the draft pick and Fred vanvleet to another team for an upgrade at pg. Or maybe see if they can snag kevin Durant in exchange. The 3rd overall pick isn't worth what it usually is this year. This draft is trash. There are no potential all stars in this draft. They will be lucky to get 1 or 2 from this class. So trading a pick you would have used to take a role player and getting 2 or 3 years of a super star is definitely worth it.
