Courtney on the Creative Fabrica site I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong or this is how the software works. You gone through say 20 images you find one you add to favorites but you still want to look but you have to start over and look at those 20 images you looked at before you added one to favorites. I just pick a number it could be 100 images but you still have to go back to the beginning if you stop and add to favorites or download as well. Hope this is clear. Thank you for any advice you can give me. I don’t care for Halloween themed cups but I really like this one. Going to try my hand at one tomorrow. Love your tutorials.

That is a beautiful cup. I have followed you since you started and have always wondered what you use on your cups when you just go and set them down. Is that PCV pipe with something on the bottom? I find that I'm always looking for something to hold my cups when after I glitter, ink, etc....I made a PCV holder, but it takes up so much room. Where can I find what you use? Thanks Courtney and have a great weekend 🙂
@CourtneysCustoms
Жыл бұрын
Thank you! It’s PVC pipe with a pool noodle
Hi, awesome look… I achieve similar and I’m going to share a way to get that same results with less stress on your wrist and hands lol no carpal tunnel required! When I want to use alcohol inks and spread it out to get that particular look, I use a “Real Sponge” … I generally purchase a large size (I live in Florida near the sponge docks and I get a natural sponge the last me years or The dollar tree and most craft stores carry natural sponge) and cut it up into manageable pieces. Then I take a fine mist sprayer with 91 or 70% alcohol and I either spray it on the sponge(you can use the same sponge or a new one and it will give you a different effect) or directly on the cup and dab it and it literally takes me 2 or 3 minutes max. Try it out and let me know how much time you shave off :)
Love this cup! Did the alcohol ink turned kind of a turquoise color?

Hello, I don't know how I came across your video, but I'm sure glad I did. I have never tried a cup or tumbler before, but I sure want to try it now. I have a few questions; I hope they don't offend you since I don't know the process. First one is, what paint did you use to prepare your tumbler? Second one is, why did you use ink on the bottom if you were going to paint it, or did you decide after you put on the vinyl? The third question is, why did you put Mod Podge in the list when I believe in the video that you weren't using Mod Podge on the tumbler? Fourth and final question is, how many coats of epoxy in total did you use and at what stages in the process? Your tumbler came out so beautiful that I had to subscribe. Thank you so much for showing us all how to do it.

OK now that I watched it again, I have another question. How do you keep the epoxy out of the inside of the cup lip? Although I missed it the first time, thanks for the Positivity Thought! Bless you.
@CourtneysCustoms
Жыл бұрын
Hi! Thank you so much for subscribing! To answer your questions… 1. To prep I used Head in the Clouds from ColorShot 2. I decided last minute to paint the bottom 3. The list of materials in my description is automatic, meaning every time I post a video the same thing is copied into every description. I go in and edit when I need to, but I must have forgotten to remove the mod podge. 4. In total, there’s 3 coats. Every 24 hours I added a new layer. 5. I always get epoxy in the cup lol. I take a craft knife and gently scrape it out I hope this helps!
