    I’m doing splits because I’m 63 years old and some people think I should have a hard time even walking 🙄 I love proving them wrong. I love setting an example of how to age on your own terms. Love you guys! 🙋🏻‍♀

    And remember to "BREATHE" every time you're stretching to allow for more oxygen intake. That's the key to flexibility is to properly breathe in and out of your stretches.

    @iss8223

    @@c-a-t-entertinment7075 Pain shouldn't be associated with stretching, it can involve muscle tears and lead to injury. You should always breathe while in a stretched position for oxygen intake. Exhale when entering to a stretch position, and then breathe in and out. Afterwards exhale when coming out of the stretched position. Never hold you're breath while stretching. Take it from a former ballet dancer.

    I've been dealing with plantar fasciitis for 8-9 months now. Stretching my calves helped immensely (along with ice and massage). Once it got better starting doing calf raises in the last 2 months to strengthen the foot muscles which further reduced the pain. As we speak, I'm almost 80-90% healed.
