I don't play competitive Splatoon but if someone has a team named: Greasy goblins you know I'm cheering for them.

They literally didn't. You just have to follow certain rules to host them.

@@SaltyToad00the rules make them nearly impossible to host. If you wanna do prize pools you have to jump through a bunch of hoops and you can’t have sponsors of any kind. Its the main reason why the Splatoon esports scene has been stunted

You know if they only made it to where ppl had a chance at competing in the leagues by making official tourneys more accessible Some ppl ive played with on either regular battles or ranked are complete monsters
