The Root Chakra
The root chakra, Muladhara, is our center of energy and survival. It is what connects us to the earth, it is found at the base of the spine and can be considered our root, the one that keeps us physically and emotionally rooted. It is related to the basic needs that we have as people, love, security and subsistence. This chakra is related to the functioning of the adrenal glands. It is said to be the place where kundalini energy resides, the most powerful energy of impulse and life force of the human being.
