The Sacral Chakra
The second Chakra is the sacral one, Svadhisthana, located two fingers below the navel. It is the chakra of sensuality and emotions. Therefore, in balance it is linked to a full sexuality free of all guilt. When it is blocked, a feeling of contempt or repression may appear, as well as being out of adjustment in the form of excess and addictions. This chakra vibrates in the color orange and connects us with the water element, allowing us to open ourselves to the flow of life. Physically, it is associated with the hips, genitals, reproductive system, kidneys, and bladder. This chakra is an opening to new life experiences. It helps us accept change and the sensory experiences that may occur.
