I had to laugh. I finished watching your video and remembered when I moved in my house I found VERY old framed catholic pictures so I went looking for those pictures. I had saved them in a closet. One was the Last Supper and one was the Sacred Heart of Jesus! God works in mysterious ways. 🙂🙏

My mom gave me an antique Sacred Heart of Jesus framed print and I have an LED candle of St Michael in a scone on our bedroom wall that I light at night. I also have a shelf on the wall in our hallway that has a statue of Our Lady, water from Lourdes, a standing crucifix, and holy oil. Since I put all of these things up and increased m prayer time, the feeling in my house is o much more peaceful. Blessings and love to you and your family 🥰

Pictures and sacramentals are also a visual sign to anyone who enters your home that you and your family belong to the Lord. I had mass said in my home last year and I cannot recommend it enough, the peace afterwards is indescribable. Our Lord and His blessed mother were actually here in my home for the Holy Sacrifice of The Mass, there is no higher blessing than that. My home is forever consecrated ground 🥰 I keep my holy water font at my front door and bless myself leaving and coming home again. I'm only after finding your channel and I'm binge watching all your videos, thank you for serving The Lord xx God bless xx

Little by little I've put up our altar, our Adults Catholic Library, our Kids Catholic Library, Our Catholic School space, next is to put crucifixes in every room and when remodeling is done, a crucifix in the entrance and house blessing. I have a beloved crucifix on the hallway that is a family heirloom. I want everyone to know we are a Catholic family growing in faith, even extended family who have noticed the difference on our ways. I have noticed the difference, how aware my kids have become (including my teen through his spiritual stages). Big fans of holy water here, someday will put a wall holy water font, meanwhile really nearby holy water is always available. Is so sweet how my kids act around the altar and how my teen reminds them to respect when they run like crazy nearby. I am in love with my Catholic homemaking. It grounds me, it holds me, HE holds us.

Personally I would recommend a Catholic bible pre V2. Words have been changed since 1962 to water down the true meanings. The salt is a good idea but needs a special blessing with exorcism blessings. Your local excorist should be able to do it, free of charge. One thing you didn't comment on was having a blessed crucifix over each outer door. The more prayer books the better.

Hello! Thank you so much for this. I would only add the Liturgy of the Hours (Divine Office). I know for most people it might seem scary (so many prayers, the order, the feasts, and all that there is to think about) but I know that once one digs into it and deeply prays with full heart, the day is sanctified. We get reminded of God troughout the day by the Divine Office. With work and all that, it's quite difficult, but I suggest at least weekends, or only Vespers and Compline on weekdays. For me, it was what brought me closer to the Church, thus, to God. I was not a fervorous Catholic, and once I started praying the Liturgy of the Hours, I just became more and more interested in knowing the Catholic Church, Faith, and Doctrine, by the grace of God, which is so important for every Christian. Although the Divine Office is often associated with monasteries, convents, and priests only, the Catholic Church actually encourages every lay people to pray the Liturgy of the Hours as well. Hello Angel, God is Good all the time. Plead the Blood of Jesus over your Family. Play Christian music in your home, it's the Word. Satan hates the Word. Also pray your Rosary. I pray it and I smell Rose's and feel Mary's presence always. She will guide and protect. My family has been through a lot as well. God Bless you and your Family.

I am sorry. And this is for everyone who is living in sadness. It’s difficult to live in peace when the home life is vulgar. If there is anyone here that can help in Jesus name, please add Godly suggestions. There are some beautiful KZread videos but they don’t come outright and say they are Catholic; however, they have mentioned God. The videos are The Modern Lady and the daily connoisseur. These might help you to feel better. I’m not sure. Just trying to help. The Bible is comforting and reading God’s love letter to you, will bless you. All of you struggling at home, your in my prayers for peace and health.

You are so right my parents did the same thing in our home when I grew up. We had our home blessed, salt candles, holy water etc you name it. More people need to have this.🙏🙏❤

I was always taught to put a holy palm over your front door for protection also.

I recommend the Douay Rheims Bible it's great. Definitely not KJV or some of the newer ones either. I specifically recommend the Catechism of the council of Trent, and a lot of sacramentals for sure so great recommendations. Thank you for spreading the message when it comes to Deliverance Prayers by Father Chad Ripperger.

I have a framed image of divine mercy in my home...i was given this picture by a man i do not know whilst i was visiting Carfin Lourdes Grotto in Carfin, he approached me and said can i give you this...

In today’s dark dark world, we can never have enough holy water, Blessed salt, Blessed candles 🕯 And Sacramentals on us, around us and in our homes...... ( I do have one tiny holy water font, and 3-4 day 24hour 100% beeswax Blessed candles I use for my holy altar and kept safe for The 3 day of darkness.... And YES on the ORIGINAL PIETA PRAYER BOOK 📖 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🕯🕯🕯✝️💟

What you've said reminds me of the story of my dad getting the picture of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. One day a friend came to him saying that he found the picture thrown away in the street. He said he knew my dad would take care of it. Simmilar thing happened to us with the picture od Mary.

So true sister ! Though I'm Baptist I have started saying the divine mercy chaplet . The world is crazy and it's not going to be better, as it's an indication of the last days. While I know where I'm going I'm still fearful, uncertain of the future though I'm not overwhelmed either. I have placed my faith in Christ alone and I know he will provide and protect us.

I really wanted a sacred heart and prayed. We went to this store that we’ve never been too and right there on the floor was a Sacred Heart of Jesus. Framed and sitting not even on the shelf. We immediately bought it. It’s now in our living room. ❤

Great idea, the Holy Water is particularly powerful as St.Theresa of Avila would say she would show the crucifix but the evil ones would come back however when she dashed holy water around they would not return....also the Benedict Crucifix in each room. Thanks so much.🙏

I learned from my mother to have the small Sacred Heart of Jesus over each door, which you can get at practically any Catholic store, and mine came from the religious articles store in my parish. We also have a picture of Jesus The Divine Mercy on the glass of both the front and back door. Of course, we have a fairly large beautiful crucifix in our home, the Bible, catechism, Catholic study books, and several images that reminds us to pray all the time. I feel I need to get an image of Saint Michael The Archangel, and the benedictine medals soon. Thank you, and Go’s bless you and your family.🙏

A couple years ago the term “domestic church” hit me like a ton of bricks and I finally understood it like you described it in this video! I checked all the boxes of things you said so I was super excited to know we are on the right track! I would add two things to the list: 1) exorcised salt and water- it’s got a special blessing to it 2) a crucifix in every room. This allows for a focal point at any point in the day when you need to say a prayer or chat with God about something…it’s also good look at when you think you’re having a bad day…I usually look at the crucifix and say, “ok, it’s not THAT bad…”

Thank you for your faithfulness. Inspiring! My Pieta book belonged to my late great grandma. My grandma passed it on to me. It's yellowed and falling apart but I love that all the prayers are in archaic English!

Epiphany Home Blessing every year! Our parish offers kits to do this every year on Epiphany Sunday :-) Holy water font in our entryway, with holy water regularly placed into it. Sacred images of course including Divine Mercy (yard flag right in front of our house and also a Vilnius image inside the common area of our house), images and statues of Our Lady, picture of the Holy Family. We need a St Michael though! Crucifix in every single room. And of course, pray the rosary as a family :-) Thank you for encouraging protecting our Domestic Church's Heather!! I love what you do with your home. It's our job, especially as the homemakers :-) I love what you said about asking God for these images. Holy water is free, just grab a $1 bottle or jar, to keep it in, and place it in a small bowl. Also, if you have access to a printer with color ink, you can print some nice images right off the internet and get a dollar store frame. The image doesn't loss power for not being expensive.

Thank you so much for the reminders! Some, I know and some I knew but, had forgotten I too feel the spiritual warfare going on in the outside world. I do feel my home is my sanctuary. As a Catholic I also have been receiving Communion once a week. If I can't make Sunday Mass, there are other churches in my town with weekday Masses, in the morning, or evening.

I just subscribed your channel. I loved all your videos especially the most amazing thing touched me is that the sacred heart of Jesus Picture. I have a story behind the pic I got at home. When I moved to Uk I didn’t have a Jesus picture to pray. One day after attending the holy mass I was coming out of the church, on the entrance I found a clean rolled up paper on the floor. When I opened this… I couldn’t believe it. That was a beautiful sacred heart picture. It’s been over 15 years. That’s the main picture I framed it and kept in my prayer room.

Love this video! Another thing that I do that Father Ripperger recommends is putting a few drops of holy water in the essential oil defuser or humidifier. He said that there are many demons of the air that can cause havoc in your home and this will help with that.

What a wonderful video. Thank you. One thing I love is having and recommend is a Roman Missal. I know that the daily readings are easily found online, but the Roman Missal is so great for daily readings and even looking ahead to other Mass readings. It also contains many devotionals, prayers, etc. Also, a magazine form of the Missal , such as Magnificat, is so helpful. It's a fabulous gift, too. THank you again.

Yes I agree your religious items, should always be blessed, it can be blessed by a priest or a Deacon.

Here in the Philippines, apart from house blessings, we have a statue of Christ the King when you enter our house,which shows that He is enthroned in our home and most of our neighbours have an image of the Sacred and Immaculate hearts on our gates or doorways (if they live in an apartment). Enthronement to the Sacred Heart of Jesus & Immaculate Heart of Mary puts Jesus & Mary as King & Queen of your home. Why wouldn't you enthrone your home to them? I love that this beautiful woman and mom takes her role as homemaker as a sincere Catholic. Brava!

Personally I would not put a holy object such as a blessed medal under a rug on the floor. That seems disrespectful to put it on the floor for people to walk on. Put it u[ on the walls instead
