The Spiritual Anthem of Ukraine, "Prayer for Ukraine", was sung and played after the speech of then-Minister of Defence of Ukraine General Army Oleksandr Kuzmuk on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the independence of Ukraine. This was sung and played in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin and then-incumbent President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma.
