It was announced on the night of May 10, 2022 that the first President of Ukraine Leonid Makarovych Kravchuk passed away. He was the president from 1991 to 1994, the first ever elected president since Ukraine declared its independence. He passed away while Ukraine is almost on its 3rd months of the war.
As a tribute, I made a tribute video similar to how the BBC announces a royal death with the national anthem of Ukraine in place.
Eternal memory be granted upon Leonid Makarovych.

Condolences to the family of late First President of Ukraine, Leonid Kravchuk.
RIP President Kravchuk. One of three men who signed the Soviet Union out of existence and who set the tradition for the peaceful transfer of power from president to president in Ukraine, something that Belarus and Russia severely lack. Independent Ukraine will endure and Putin's attempt to rebuild the USSR will end in epic failure. Slava Ukraini

He was a good politician and was not a traitor. He is the first prizident of Ukraine
Leonid Kravchuk was so popular that he only served a single term & was defeated by his own Prime Minister.
While Gorbachev is still alive

I don't like Viktor Yanukovych. He's a bad person. I only like Leonid Kravchuk, Leonid Kuchma, Viktor Yushchenko, Petro Poroshenko, and the incumbent Volodymyr Zelensky.

Although I believe Ukraine will win and want them to do so, this is the version of the anthem they should use if they had to do a final broadcast as an independent nation as it gives off a similar vibe to the final broadcasts of nations invaded in WW2
