@@Mr.Marbles Most metal fans don't know this band exists. Because in this genre there are so many bands with so many fans, and unlike pop who all fans are drawn to the exact same music. Think of the random bands you stumble upon all the time, and had no idea they even existed who pull far bigger crowds than Spiritbox.. I only found this band due to the youtube algorithm a few years ago.

Listening to Courtney is like listening to a siren sing. It sounds so hauntingly beautiful.

I agree, I like some mostly higher range singers, but at louder volumes some higher range singers can get a little sharp on my sensitive ears and I can handle a lot of metal screaming.

Courtney's vocals are so hauntingly beautiful!

Best song on this album. I love the buildup and then that massive ending breakdown. Fucking stellar.

this whole album is incredible, but SUN KILLER is probably the most hauntingly Beautiful metal song i have ever heard. its so many eargasms rolled into such a tight package. the lyrics are so damn dark and haunting and that chorus sends a chill down my soul. This is a song that makes you feel alive, my favorite song from Spiritbox so far after Circle With Me and Constance.

I know this isn't technically one of their heaviest songs on the album... but when the drums and bass come in in that first verse... it just sounds so fuckin menacing. This album is one of the best modern metal albums I've heard in a long long time.

Bruh just because it's a woman rocker doesn't mean she sounds like Evanescence. The only similarity here is that they both are women.

My favorite so far. So heavy. What a HELL of a way to open an album! This is haunting and I absolutely love everything about it.

This tune is absolute fire. From the haunting opening to the Nordic / Celtic horror vibes. Wow! An incredible start to the album.

I don't get why people and even artists/bands (you have no idea how sad I was learning Green Day, another fav band I liked, hates nu-metal) hate on it when some of the songs there are absolute jams and it contributed by serving as a gateway.

Perfect ending to a perfect song.

I love this song so much, I can't even explain. The whisper chant and then the vocal explosion at the end. It give me chills every fucking time!

The breakdown at the end of this song alone made a lifelong Spiritbox fan out of me. Listening to Eternal Blue in full cemented it. One full playthrough and I was blown away.

This album is beyond good, AOTY for sure

So stoked for this album. Absolutely love this band.

This is one of the most hauntingly beautiful songs available on earth right now.

This album has Hybrid Theory potential... Feels like a superior music and natural step forward for contemporary metal music...

@@milospetrovic2131 yeah bro I fully get where you are coming from... hybrid theory really shook the scene up for a debut album, it had so much on 1 album that varied so much and was unheard of... this album has that same feel to me man... many debut albums have come and go for me including my favourite bands over the time... they all pale in comparison to this album and the amazing feeling behind it... this is special and if this is the quality they are gonna drop on debut then imagine a few years down the track :)

This and Eternal Blue sound so huge, so dramatic. Spiritbox is a multidimensional, this doesn't sound like a debut album, the complexity of the sound, the intricacy of the lyrics, this album is a trailblazer

Tesseract is better imo. Way more rhythmically complex, and ethereal. You can hear their influence in spiritbox though. Bottom line, both bands kick ass.

Everytime I’ve listened to it. To me, bands should make a statement with track 1 on an album, and this is easily one of the best openers I’ve ever heard

This whole album did absolutely not disappoint. My favorite album this year hands down

That drop into the breakdown at the end is so satisfying. Best use of building tension, to then release it the way they did i have ever heard in any song.

This is definitely my favorite song on the album. Most music I put on with Courtney in it I find my self tearing of joy, someone said they’re glad music like this exist that can make them feel and they do it EVERY TIME. Her voice and the mix of guitar tone, is unmatchable with the right melodies. Truly brings tears to my eyes. TELL ME THE WAVES WONT RISE 🙏🏻

@@travislawson5219 no joke, I had just arrived at work one morning at 5 am, and constance played in my headphones, my first time ever hearing the song, and I literally started to cry at work, as the chords reminded me of the weight of life.

Song is a master class in tension/release - verse rhythm has an atmospheric Meshuggah feel - slow motion headbanger.

I cant even put into words how much I love this song. The album is sooooo good as a whole but this one right here. This band can absolutely do no wrong in my eyes

Something about heavy metal instrumentals and female vocals just scratches that musical itch.

Had to pause the track whilst my dog was taking a poop because this song is royalty and I didn’t want to dishonour it.

I like the attention to detail that (on desktop anyway) that the text at the bottom of the screen rests almost exactly above the progress bar, it pleases my brain immensely, hats to the editor

I've had this whole album in constant rotation ever since it came out and it's just as good as the first time. Actually, no, it's better - because of all the little details and nuance I've noticed. Spiritbox is easily my favorite band right now and it's gonna take a lot to unseat them. This is rapidly rising to the top of my list of favorite full albums ever. Plenty of artists put out a good song or two, but this whole album flows perfectly. It's just incredible.
