I remember talking to Mike a week before this song was released and him being genuinely scared what people were gonna think about this one. His exact words were “they’re either gonna love it and it’ll push us further than any of our previous songs, or they’re gonna hate it and we’re trying to pull everyone back.” Safe to say, the majority of people loved it. It’s not heavy, but it is “heavy.”

For real... They've done an amazing job projecting emotions through this song. You literally feel what they felt 😣

Apparently Courtney wrote it in regards to losing her grandmother and due to Covid her not being able to see her to say good bye how she would like to have , and Courtney’s grandmother always loved her clean vocals so she did a whole song for her. Super heavy but clean!

The depiction of losing a parent/grandparent in this video is incredibly painful and real. The fighting and arguing after the first chorus, my immediate thought is they are fighting over where the mother/grandmother will go. One pushing to put her in a convalescent home, while the other argues that they can take care of her at home, she doesn’t need to be in a nursing home. Those fights are very real and incredibly stressful on everybody. Plus the breakdown at the end, depicting her mind slowly succumbing to dementia until she’s with who I’m assuming is her late husband. And when she couldn’t recognize her younger self in a picture anymore. Ugh my eyes.

The whole song is beautiful, I adore the ending parts though, you can feel the anguish and pain in the distorted guitar piece, followed by the calmness at the end symbolising death as a release. Courtney's voice as ever is unbelievable.

I am a fellow Aussie metalhead and Spiritbox fan. My grandmother is 94 next month. she has dementia and Alzheimer's disease. I saw her yesterday for the first time in months. she hasn't got long and Courtney wrote this song about losing her grandmother. I physically can't cry. I haven't cried in almost 10 years! this is the closest I've ever come to crying. Damn this one hit me hard!

I always tear up hearing it. My Great Grandma died after dealing with sirious dementia. She adored me my whole Life, at the end she was afraid of me because she didn‘t knew I ever existed. This is the hardest hit someone can Take. This song is so pure.

Wow. I haven’t read It feels like a story of people struggling with a loved one losing to dementia. And the person with dementia starting to become scattered and confused. Was definitely beautiful and sad.

Apparently the song is all about losing one's grandmother (the lead singer and the videographer) had losses. The song is named after the videographers grandmother, Constance, who had dementia. Right in the feels.

Dylan’s grandmother is still very much alive, but his family is experiencing all the pains and struggles of “losing” someone before they are actually gone.

Spiritbox... they are real masters of their craft. This song is a masterpiece. And to be honest, this is the only song I sometimes skip in my playlist because it's just hitting way to hard. Right in the feels. Watching this video without crying like a baby is just impossible. Thank you, Spiritbox, for making incredible music ♥

This song hit me in the feels and it elevated the video which also hit me in the feels as i've had family members with dementia which is sort of what I think the video was representing Don't read below if you don't want to be brought down! As the old lady struggled to remember her husbands passing then couldn't recognise herself in the photo a blank face representing a stranger, items disappearing and then family members representing her forgetting everything piece by piece & then in the end the house was empty she was gone as the band members stood in silence her then face to face with her husband in the there after! It makes me cry cause I know my stepdads physical health isn't good and my mum because of covid had a mental break & i'm scared cause she can't tell truth from false delusions, and can't remember correctly... and memory loss runs in the family... I'm basically gonna be like that dad in the video! and i'm likely gonna have to be strong deal with the fallout because I dunno if my siblings will be able to cope when they're gone!
