I got the autogun because the NPC that partners with you in the first few stages had one and I was like "lol Machine gun go brrrr"

I've always combined a vortex along with a charge from the auto-gun to clear out most mobs. Combining a flash-charge with that used to clear out waves of mobs with a charge sent in the centre of the vortex. It's still possible without flash-charges [i believe].

Vortex with an autogun charge is a strong option (not a strong as brandishes unfortunately).

Should have mentioned how the Plague Needle is overall not worth it. Nice video! Hope you cover all the weapons eventually.

One thing to note is that Grim has higher damage values then Pepperbox because, similarly to Plague Needle, it has a status attached to it, although it's still a good gun to use. Other than that, really cool video!

You should have mentioned how if you fire the Plague Needle or Blitz in melee range, it actually explodes in an AOE, so you can hit like 3-4 medium-sized enemies instead of just one. So that's why Plague Needle/Blitz works with a vortex while Volcanic Pepperbox (and presumably Grim Repeater) does not. With the right distance, you can hit enemies through a barrier which I believe contributed to the 2nd floor of FSC having the monster-only barriers converted to 1-way barriers in each room. Besides like letting the trojans kill everything else or being able to safely bait enemy attacks with the monster-only barriers.

They got removed from the game sadly, but you can still "flash" normal attacks by performing the attack as your attack speed changes, whether it be from stun or maskerwraith invis. Flashing essentially doubles the attack
