    Omg, your Spine tutorials are pure gold. I wish all other spine tutorials were like yours. Seriously, I have been using Spine for about a year now and I have learned so much from this video and the rigging video. I wish you would do more tutorials. Instantly subbed and put this video and the rigging video on my bookmark/favorite.

    Excellent tutorial!!! You just turned a game developer who knew nothing about animation into... well, a noob who can create basic animations and use them in his games :) Thank you! (I was creating my 1st anim while watching the video - not as polished as yours but still decent) Too bad the "graph" widget looks different in the current version of Spine, I didn't manage to use it, but I'll take a look at the official documentation. Thank you again

    Amazing tutorial! I have a question, maybe a little silly, but is Spine a good software for making an animated series?

  • @ThinkCitric

    @ThinkCitric

    4 жыл бұрын

    It is a good question, actually! :) Well, Spine is designed and optimized for animating game characters, and not for video-making. I guess you could put some effort to use it for making animated series, but I believe using a different software for your series will be just a lot easier. You need an animation software optimized for video.

    Translate doesn't seem to move the children of the selected bone to where I try to, it just moves that bone, which makes it almost impossible to pose. When I use the posing rotation, bones act normally and they seem correctly parented, but for some reason translating, say, the hip bone, doesn't bring the whole torso where I want but only that bone.

  • @ThinkCitric

    @ThinkCitric

    4 жыл бұрын

    The keyframe for the mesh deformation is created only if you change the mesh. You can't really capture the initial state of the mesh, you need to change it, a tiny bit at least. Try slightly changing the position of a vertex with the Translate tool - and you'll see the keyframe appearing in the dopesheet.
