In this Spindle Spotlight I am featuring the pear shaped Tahkli by Schacht. Unfortunately, this style of spindle is no longer made, but it was a request that I wanted to feature. This unique design incorporates a wooden whorl with a metal shaft. Despite truly loathing cotton, I am so impressed with the versatility of this spindle! I did not have a chance to reacquaint myself with this spindle after I got it, so this video is literally spinning right out of the box.
