They are hilarious.. my ex-husband thought that he was as hot looking is Zach Wylde. Only problem is the only sound he could make sounded like Zach was that squeal and yeah big ugly nose and bald hair and really no talent. He would more or less hang out with people who had like real talent and this movie made me laugh because if you were the bands he was with. 00 my gosh just some funny Lil Larry’s stuff happens in the van room and it just brought back a lot of memories. Wow ha ha ha ha ha the it’s such a silly industry it really is because music is about bringing joy and happiness, and whatever to the listener, I mean to get into the music and to, it’s like you’re really like selling personal freedom to people. Yes it’s crazy when you see people get rich from just making sounds and lyrics that is the human heart so deeply that wow. I am listening this week to Judas Priest British steel and Rob Halford often many times mentions the movie Spinal Tap that that’s what it was like so I am with you guys. I love it if people think it’s stupid then that’s fine but it’s stupid in a happy good way and I’m grateful for that and I’m grateful for my fellows Spinal Tap fans live on Spinal Tap live on.!!!!!!!

Dude- WAISTband.
This actually Isn’t a bad Idea. The Bass Is such an underrated Instrument people don’t give In enough credit.
I always get a chuckle when I think of all three of them playing bass lol
Three bass guitar attack and tom-toms. That’s a lotta bottom indeed.
It's been over a week now, and I still have this song in my head...and I'm loving it 😂
Arguably the funniest song from this is spinal tap! I’m in stitches.
Spinal Tap!!! Fuck Yeah!!! Who would have thought of having 3 bass guitars play melody??? Genius!!!

Royal Blood must love these guys
I was in an art-project band in Tulsa OK in the late 1980s, "Casual Crobar." We were a satire band of Spinal Tap, which was a satire band....a "Mobius strip of bad." Big Bottom was one of the songs we played, very fun to play onstage!!
So i literally would hum the tune to this just thinking its a fun little melody and then i watched Spinal Tap again and I cant thank my mom enough for implanting such a great piece of art in my head when i was little than this.
When they first came out on MTV, I thought they were REAL and LOVED them!
Most under rated rock song EVER!!! These actors are accomplished musicians!! All guitars are bass guitars! They must have had a blast making this movie!! Spills over slightly in "Better Call Saul". Chuck plays piano in one episode and sings Kaoroke in another.
I can't believe I am just discovering this song now! I need to finally see Spinal Tap the movie. Thank u Hair Nation!

The movie is a work of creeping genius.
Viv Savage was the best keyboardist to ever live.

I don’t know why Spinal Tap didn’t retain him throughout the years. CJ Vanston was his replacement and was an excellent keyboardist too.
Saw them live at the Greek Theatre!
This could come out as a rap song today and no one would think it’s a joke.
We saw them at the Bumbershoot in Seattle, WA in the 80's..many in the crowd thought the Tap was a real band and did not know their comedy history withe SNL, Second City, TV, ETC..classic
The secret past that Chuck Mcgill doesn't want you to know about from before he became a lawyer.
I remember seeing these guys in Hollywood way back when We all sang this song Dark Angel opened the show
That's a whole lot of bass. Nothin' but the bass!
Theres never too much bass when your talking about bottoms😆😆😆
My love gun's loaded and she's in my sights. Big game is waiting there inside her tights. Surely the most underrated lyrics in rock history

I love " the looser the waistband the deeper quicksand,or so I have read"😂😂 wondering where he read that?
Classic song from an absolutely brilliant movie.
Everything this bunch of people put to the big screen is gold. I dont just mean 'Tap'- their entire oeuvre is brilliant!
I always play this song when testing out a bass or bass amp in a guitar store
Aaah, just relax and appreciate the genius that is Spinal Tap.
When I was a kid in the ‘80s there was a radio show where you call in three songs of the same theme. I called in Queen - Fat Bottom Girls AC/DC - Whole Lotta Rosie and Spinal Tap - Big Bottom I won a T-shirt or whatever

Extra large I hope.
each velvety cheek day.
The drum work is truly an inspiration. The tomtoms have never felt this sort of love
Michael McKean as David St Hubbins Christopher Guest as Nigel Tufnel Harry Shearer as Derek Smalls
Still laughing at this after almost 40 years .
Michael McKean played Mr. Green in “Clue” only a year after this. Absolutely boggles the mind.
That BC Rich double neck Bich is seriously all metal!
Love the way he smirks while singing 😂
The looser waist band, deeper the quicksand...true.

How did I miss this line? As a guy with a big girl preference I needed that line countless times. I never forgot mudflaps and the chorus.
How could i leave this behind. Comedy gold
"The looser the waistband, the deeper the quicksand, or so I have read". This might be my favorite line. I'm trying to imagine what book one would read that in.

Back then,, it would have been in Reader's Digest for sure.
I love Spianl Tap and every song from them
I remember accidentally stumbling upon this like 2 years ago, seeing again is just strange. I've accidentally stumbled upon it again.
I love it lead bass, Rhythm Bass and bass bass
On Earth-2, rock icons Spinal Tap had a huge hit with “Big Bottom,” while the classic mockumentary “This Is Queen” features the titular fake band singing a song called “Baby Got Back.”
Spinal Tap is legit kickass. I would support them if they gave it a go for real lol 🤘🏻😝🤘🏻
